I sat there in the lonely Snowdin House.... I had my orange jacket on... I... I didn't feel right wearing my battle-body armor anymore... I wore it to make myself similar to the royal Guard... Not after what happened... With Undyne.... I sniffled softly and wiped my face... I had my phone out, and called Alphys.....

"D-Doctor Alphys?..." I asked out, "Hello Papyrus, is everything alright?..." Alphys responded... She sounded distant almost... Like she wasn't fully paying attention... "... Yes... With me at least... S-Sans has been... Sleeping in the past few days heh..." I said, looking down... "Doctor it's been almost two weeks... And he hasn't moved once.... I've tried to speak to him, but all I hear is gurgling noises... H-He will make it... Won't he?....." I asked out...

"O-Of course he will Papyrus... Don't you worry about it... I'm hard at work in my lab on that cure... You haven't been feeling any symptoms yet have you, of that Hunger Virus have you?..." "No... Not yet Doctor... Just an empty feeling is all..." I said, "That's good Papyrus... Just keep that willpower I know you have.... Don't fall into it like Undyne did..." She said, I heard the clinking of a vial in the background, I had obviously called Alphys during one of her tests...

"... Speaking of Undyne... Is she-...." Alphys cut me off... "I... I haven't heard from her ever since that night Alright?... She's Gone MIA... But... But there's reports from WaterFall... I... I-I got a call that... A Royal Guardsmen was spotted e-eating another-......." She stopped mid-sentence... "E-Eating another... What?..." I asked.... Alphys was quiet.... "S-She'll be fine... I... I-I really must be going now Papyrus... Stay safe Alright?..." "Oh... O-Okay Doctor... Best of luck to you..." I said, as we shared our goodbyes... Eventually we both hung up.....

I thought to myself as I sat in that Snowdin house... I stood up and decided to take a step outside... The cold Snowdin air hitting my body right away... As I walked through Snowdin... Everything just looked so... So empty... No one was out and about... But the lights were on in peoples houses... And distant chatterings filled my ears... The people of Snowdin were still living their lives... That relieved some fear off of my shoulders as I walked into Grillbys...

I saw Grillby at the counter, but the bar was near empty... I saw one monster yell at Grillby... Saying that his food was no good, that it tasted stale...

"You call this food Grillby?!" The monster shouted, "This can barely pass off as slop! This is disgusting!" "I'm sorry Sir... But... It's the same type of food I always serve, t-there's no difference whatsoever, I-It's just a normal burger and fries..." Grillby insisted as the monster scoffed, "I-I'm gonna go find something else to eat... Y-You're losing your touch Grillby..." The monster hissed in a way and stormed off........

As Grillby sighed, adjusting his glasses, the burger with just a single bite out of it was just left on the bar table... Grillby looked in my direction... "Papyrus-... What brings you here?..." he asked, "I... I see business has gotten rough..." I said, walking up to the bar table and sitting down... Just me and Grillby in that bar.... "I'm here for a meal to-go... S-Sans is hungry...." I said, looking down...

"...... Well, you'll probably be the last monster I serve in the foreseeable future Papyrus..." Grillby said, beginning to cook up a burger and fries for Sans as I looked up, "Y-You're leaving?... W-Why?" I asked....

"Ever since that virus started running rampant, monsters just don't like my food anymore... My customer count has died down... And I'm not making any income to support me and Fuku... And with how hectic everything has become... I need to go be with my daughter in HotLands... Protect her... God only knows what's happening over there....." He said, finishing the burger and putting it into a bag, "... I... I understand.... Me and Sans will miss you Grillby...." I said looking up at him...
