After that night.. I sort of came to terms with everything... Sure... The constant hunger and pain is still there... But Paps tamed me I suppose... Thank God for my bro, heh....... But that doesn't mean our situation is much better... I did something to Paps... Not purposely... I was in a hunger-induced stupor those couple days ago... He's been acting a lot more upbeat seemingly... Having hope for the future... I'm happy for my bro.........

I'm holding out hope Alphys comes in with the save... Or if Frisk can-.........

I sat on the couch, looking at the locket around my neck... Holding it tightly as I realized I was very out of it... Only able to see out of the one eye at the moment... The remnants of my other one was still heavily bandaged... Doctors orders heh.... I was trying to eat that burger Grillby sent to us... But it just... Tasted wrong... I don't know what it was... I always loved Grillbys food... He even doused the burger with loads of Ketchup like I always asked em too... But it just... Tasted wrong.... I force-fed myself it though... For Paps Sake... And probably for my own sake as well...

"Sans? Are you feeling better heh?-" "Yeah Paps... Yeah I am...." I responded as Papyrus exited his bedroom, heading downstairs to me sat on the couch, my eye still completely wrapped in bandages......"That's amazing! Nyeheh! Eventually everything will be back to normal! I know it..." He said, Papyrus was still dawning his orange jacket, I smiled and looked over at him, "Yeah... In no time......." I said, looking down.....

"Well- I am going to step outside and check on the people of Snowdin Sans! Remember! No leaving yet, you need to recover! Plus, you don't know how dangerous it is out there... It can be quite scary..." Papyrus said, smiling and waving at me, "If you need me just call me alright?!" "Yeah-Yeah- you got it bro..." I said, scratching the back of my head... Papyrus nodded and left... Leaving me alone in the house.....

I had the house to myself... I went back upstairs to my room, and dug out the chocolates Frisk gave me back on Valentines Day..... I opened the box up and looked at the chocolates... She really spared no expense huh?... I only ate a few, wanting to save the rest for later.... Well... Later was now.... I slowly picked a chocolate up and looked at it... Trying to eat it....

Just like Grillbys... It just tasted like filth... I coughed slightly and forced it down... I... I clenched my fist and punched my wall in anguish... Frisk... I just forced her out... I... I can't even eat a simple chocolate to remind myself of her... My hands began shaking I moved my hand up and wiped my eyesocket... That orange liquid leaking down my eye sockets as I realized how bad this virus has gotten...

... Was the virus the only thing keeping me alive?..... I had only 1HP... Did the Hunger infect me... Is that how I ain't dead?... Does it come with its positives and negatives?......

... W-Whatever... I can't overthink it... Just gotta wait for Frisk to come back... With my long term unconsciousness, for around two weeks... In another week, it'll be almost a month since that day... The day Flowey arrived... Cursing us all....
