Luke slowly let me down,
"God, you're so beautiful" he whispered. I could feel the reddening in my cheeks. I had a million things running though my head, but no words would come out. I opened my mouth, preparing to speak, but shut it instead, smiling as I jumped in for another hug.I could hear the school bell ringing.
"I think we need to go now." I said laughing. He crouched a little and put its arms out like the handle of mugs. I was confused, and chuckled at his weird position. He cleared his throat and moves his hands around. Finally, I understood. I took a couple steps back and ran, jumping on his back and holding on for dear life. He propped me up, getting a better grip, and stood up straight. He didn't move at all, then suddenly, started sprinting. He was running and I was basically jumping with every step he took. It was a bumpy, but fun ride.
Not long after, we arrived at school. I slide off his back and he turned around to face me.
"Okay, I know you're going to miss me-" I punched his shoulder playfully an rolled my eyes.
"As I was saying, you're going to miss me-" I glared at him.
"But I must bid you a farewell until thou lunch" he said bowing.
I curtsied "Till then,"
"Till then."*
The lunch bell rang, and I ran to my locker to put my books in it. After what seemed like hours, shoving the stuff in my locker, I finally headed over to the cafeteria.
I saw Luke and Dylan sitting at a table waiting for me. I smiled and made my way to the brown wooden table. They both smiled at me when I sat down. I slipped a fry into my mouth, and listened in on their conversation.
Something about cars.
Before I realized it, the bell rang. I hugged Luke and Dylan, and ran to my locker. I shuffled through the papers and books, until I finally salvaged my Geography. I darted over to my class, trying not to be late.
The rest of the day went pretty slow. Finally when 2 o'clock rolled around, I skipped outside. I saw Luke's blue Honda Civic pulling up to the door were I was standing. He rolled down the window and put on the best drunk voice he could.
"Hey there pretty little lady. Looks like you could use a ride"
"I'm sorry sir, but I have a boyfriend." I replied swaying my hips and posing.
"Golly gee, he must be lucky" I giggled as I climbed into the little car.Luke took me straight to the restaurant, a fancy one at that. I quietly admired the ginormous, old Greek looking building. There were rustic yet elegant pillars, some were standing up straight but most were leaving and crashing into the rest of the building. A Caesar statue stood proud and bold, on towering on top of everything else. We walked into the restaurant and got seated almost immediately. A pretty, short lady walked up to our table with her blue shirt and skirt uniform.
"Hi. Here are your menu's. What can I get you to drink?" She said shyly, as she set our menu's on the table. The restaurant was a collision of Italian and Greek, the menu was covered with pizza, salads, meatballs, and pasta. I stared at the never ending options. My eyes trailed above the menu and landed on Luke. His eyes glistened at the menu too, and he had the biggest smile painted on his face.
This was going to be a great night.
