Chapter #5

You should've fallen into the mud.. you deserved it.. logic says you should've.. 

But.. you didn't? 

It seemed like someone caught you and saved you.. but nobody was there.. 

You took a deep breath and headed inside the school again, as the rain poured constantly through the school garden. (Or yard, whatever) 

You made sure you weren't muddy or wet.. and succeeded.. 

But one thing had to go wrong.. 

... 

It was now 1 minute past curfew. 

After you made sure your shoes were fine, you had 2 choices, either run for it, sneak there, or if you were just insane, try and reason with whoever catches you in the hall past curfew. And option number 3 seemed impossible, and option number 1 seemed a bit too.. risky dare I say? 

And logic picks option 2! 

And that's when you decided to sneak through the halls.. but when you were in close distance to your dorm.. 

It seemed that Army was heading down the halls, doing a roll call.. 

Well.. at least you weren't running down the halls, and he hadn't made it to your dorm yet. 

He could also turn and face at you at any time.. so be careful. 

... 

You slowly made it down the hall, and at last second, you quickly opened your door.. 

The problem? 

It was locked. 

... 

"Y/N, explain why you are still around past curfew?" Army asked as he turned to you, with that stern stare. 

Now quickly make the best excuse, the prize is life! 

"I-I got lost on the way here.. I accidentally took a different route.." You said, actually being honest. 

"Y/N.. this is your last warning before things get messy, alright?" Army said as he sighed beforehand. 

"I-I understand.." You replied. 

"Good.. here, I'll unlock your dorm for you." Army said as he grabbed your key out of the 1,679 keys on his keychain or whatever. 

"thank you.." you said quietly. 

A few seconds later, "you're welcome.." Army replied and shut your door on you, and locked it again. 

"But I'm keeping my eyes on you," Army said through the door as he left. 

...

Wow.. that was shocking.. 

Hope you can actually sleep tonight.. 

... 

You did sleep tonight. 

... *Timeskip by Y/N's silent snoring* ... 

You sudden woke up in a cold sweat, about to scream, but your vocals didn't let you, and lead you to let out a dying dolphin sound. 

You felt some tears coming down your face.. 

"Did you just have a nightmare, Y/N?" A male voice asked, and you looked up to find, Sailor-B. 

"y-yes...." You replied, sounding pretty stressed.

"Is everything here alright?" Sailor-W asked, coming behind Sailor-B.

"I-I.." You tried responding, but you were a bit too nervous in the end.

"Here." They both said while giving you a comforting hug.

"t-thank you.." you said quietly. 

"you're welcome, as long as you feel safe here, I'll be fine." Sailor-W said calmly. 

"I agree, you should feel safer here, don't worry." Sailor-B said to you in a more relaxed tone. 

"And what are you two doing in the same room?" A female voice came from behind them. 

"F-Forge, it's not what you think..." Sailor-W instantly replied. 

"We're still doing our job.." Sailor-B quickly said. 

"Just imagine what Army would say, he wouldn't be happy, would he?" Forge quickly said. 

While this was going on, you just kind of sat on your bed watching this, awkwardly. 

But your heart jumped when lightning crackled outside and Army appeared from the shadows. 

"Did somebody say.. Army?" Army said, trying to be somewhat dramatic. 

Just go back to sleep at this point. 

You sat there in the corner while both, Sailor-W and B's mouths turned into rectangles. 

"And what are you 3 together while you are supposed to monitor the entire grounds?" Army said to the rest of his team.

"Then why are you here?" You whispered quietly under your breath, hoping nobody heard you.

Army just glared at you, but let go and continue to lecture his team on why they need to be separate across the campus. 

Then after Army was done, they all separated, but no one stayed behind with you. 

Thankfully Army must've forgotten about what you said. 

You tried heading back to sleep, but you just felt so.. wide awake.. 

You also felt like you had a fever of some sort.. 

It didn't feel so great.. 

Then you tried to drink some water, it didn't work, and you learned that your throat was pretty sore. 

You now had only 1 task.. 

...

Get better before Army finds out. 

...

Why? You may ask? Because Army has a strict policy on fevers and such, where if somebody was feeling an awful fever that wasn't contagious. Army would call in a sub for his classes and treat the one who is not feeling great. 

And it's really awkward. 

...

And you can probably guess, nobody wanted an Army in their face for 24 hours or longer, or else you'd go mentally insane. 

I mean.. I see why..

The 6am in the morning you were somewhat asleep, but you woke up really easily.. 

But you felt so restless, that was like under 6 hours of sleep. 

You felt so awake, yet ready to pass out, and with your fever still with you. 

You didn't feel good at all.. was it the cold curry? 

OF COURSE! IT WAS THE COLD CURRY! 

At least you could blame it on something, just don't say to Army, he'll feel insulted. 

What should you do? You felt so lost in this moment, y-you didn't know what to do-

Suddenly your door was unlocked after you had your student uniform on. 

"..." You were in dead silence. 

The door opened. 

"Y/N, you seem unwell, do you need anything?" Army said at the other side of the door. 

"..." You didn't reply. 

"Here, I'll check your temperature." Army said as he came inside your dorm, "Sit on your bed, will you?" He asked as he was next to you now, with a med kit in his left hand. 

You listened to his instructions, but unfortunately, you did have a fever, a pretty bad headache too.. 

This was gonna be quite rough for you, won't it?
