You walked nervously behind Army, even having the idea that you should just duck and hide behind him. He was the closest thing you had to comfort after all, but he only just wants to help you, and you didn't seem to accept it.
Army walked closer towards the table, but quickly stole a chair for you, quite lucky of you though, you never saw him like this.
"Take a seat Y/N," Army said softly to you, guess he already knew you were a mess of anxiety around the rest of the S4.
He gave you a nice head pat and whispered, "You'll be alright." Before turning to the rest of the S4 and began to discuss battle strategies and lecturing Aloha, but not before the rest of the S4 just sort of glared at you, seemingly recognizing you.
What usually would be a once in a life time event, quickly turned into an event of chaos.
At least Skull was actually listening to Army, but really only cause Army bribed him with candy.
Meanwhile you just sort of sat there, supposed to take notes, but had an empty book. You just were too nervous to really be able to take in and notice the meeting.
Then Army declared a break, as he was receiving a phone call from Forge, Army walked off quickly and eyes turned to you.
They stared at you for a moment, then Mask went back to his phone, and so did Aloha, while Skull sat there with some candy in hand. Meanwhile you were violently trying to write down whatever the heck you could remember, (NOTHING! :(((...) and desperately trying to print neatly, (something I, the writer, actually struggles with.)
You were nervous, and it showed on your face, your eyes slightly watery, you weren't feeling good at all, you knew the pressure was on when Army asked you to take notes.
The S4 unfortunately didn't give a heck, expect for Aloha, he watched as you struggled and couldn't help but feel bad, you seemed pressured all the time because of Army, Aloha stopped scrolling on Splatnet for a moment, and put his hand on your shoulder, "Hey, u know, Army never introduced you."
"o-oh yeah.. he didn't.." you responded softly.
"Here, let me help you." Aloha says to you as he brought his chair closer. Meanwhile Mask looked up from his phone for a second and saw what was happened and commented, "Aloha, you weren't even listening in the meeting either."
"At least I was listening more than you Masky~" Aloha teased Mask, in a preppy tone.
And then the 2 began to argue while you and Skull sat there in silence.
You sat there mentally cursing yourself, and were about to reach your limit, that you actually threw the small notebook, and it hit Army.
Everyone looked at you, you were sweating, but then pointed at Aloha, and Skull and Mask just didn't care and pointed at Aloha too.
Army wasn't sure, but continued to talk with Forge to solve her problem with the rest of the CoCaptains.
Then Army finished up the phone call amd turned back to everyone, looking at you, "Y/N, why is your notebook over here? And why is it empty?"
He spoke with a bit of an angered tone, and your tentacles just felt so heavy, "It was-" You spoke, but then got interrupted by Aloha.
"My fault." Aloha said, defending you. It was your fault though, why were they helping you.
Army then sighed, "Meeting dismissed.." He had a disapointed expression on his face, "Follow me Y/N.."
But then Aloha pulled you over quickly, "Hey, Y/N, I'm hosting a party tomorrow, wanna come?" Aloha said passing over his number.
"um- sure.." You said, taking his phone number nervously, then getting pulled by the shoulders from behind you to find an impatient Army.
"Follow in line, Y/N" Army said sternly.
"R-right.." you murmerd as Army walked with you back to his team's apartment.
He seemed really angry to say the least, he was obviously furious, and if you slipped up once more, you'll be on the ground crying in a millisecond, (writer would do this.)
You really didn't want to get on his bad side, (cmon reader, your like 14 or smh-)
You took a deep breath, and you both made it to team oranges apartment, you became traumatized when Army slammed the door afterwards.
Army just sighed and just let you inside the guest bedroom, then locked it without saying anything.
You just managed to take a seat on the bed and breathe like a normal person would.
Your tentcles slightly flopped down, sort of disappointed in yourself, even though it wasn't all your fault.
You felt like you let down Army in one of the worst ways possible, In front of the S4.
You were unsure, yet felt so bad about yourself.
Suddenly your depression's screentime was over and you heard a quiet knock on the window, "Aloha? What are you doing here?" You asked Aloha as I opened the window and Aloha climbed inside.
"Here to check on you, Army seems upset, are you both alright." Aloha asked you, patting you on the shoulder.
"I-I'm alright, he just hasn't spooken to me since, either he's embarrassed, or just genuinely upset.." You replied.
"oki! thanks for the info, hope he's doing better, and apologies for damaging your alarm clock the other day.~" Aloha said before quicky disappearing into the cold night.
"WAIT WHAT!?" You wanted to shout at him so badly, he was the reason why you were late by an hour a few days ago.
Then you heard footsteps from outside, it seems that they might've heard you, so you obviously shut the window and sat on the bed again before the door creaked open, "Y/N.. you alright?"
"I'm alright.." You responded, looking up to see a concerned Forge.
"You sure?" She then asked as she came closer to you.
"Y-yeah.. I'm alright.." You response was.
"Alright, but the curry is getting cold, follow me." Forge said, waving you put of the guest bedroom and down the hall.
