It was now Thursday! The last day before the holiday weekend getaway!

This was basically where all students with family to head to may escape the school for the weekend!

You got up and looked at the rising sun, coming through your window, it was pretty unusual, but that's alright!

The sun rays hitting your skin softly made you feel a lot more warm and comfortable.

Your alarm clock was.. blank? and splattered with some pink ink.. better contact the IT department..

You grabbed your things and prepared for the day again, you were gonna get the hang of this.

You headed through the halls.. they were.. empty..?

It seemed that everyone probably headed to class early, quite unusual..

You took a deep breath, this will be such a great day!

"Y/N, why aren't you in class?" B-Sailor asked from behind you suddenly.

"Huh?" You asked, a bit softer, you were actually clueless.

"Y/N, it's 8:00am, classes started an hour ago." B-Sailor reminded you, and your eyes slightly widen.

"W-what..?" You replied, nervous and stressed at the same time.

B-Sailor then gave you a hug, "This is a hug in advance, good luck dealing with Army." He said before just leaving you there.

After B-Sailor left down the halls, Army stepped out into the hallway, taking a moment from the class he was just teaching.

Army looked over at you, "Ah, there you are Y/N." He said in an emotionless tone.

"Mind explaining why you were an hour late?" Army asked, almost in front of you now.

"I-I.." You couldn't explain anything, you were too nervous.

Army patted the top of your head, "Y/N, don't be nervous, it's alright."

"w-well.. when I woke up a few minutes ago.. my alarm clock was off and splatted with.. pink ink..? I haven't exactly gotten that good with the schedule yet.." You actually did tell the truth.

"Hm, pink? We'll talk more after class, okay?" Army said a few seconds after, he might know something you don't.

"o-okay.." you replied and followed him back to class.

After a long day of classes, you got to talk to Army a little bit, Army wasn't all too mad at you, as technically you had a reason behind it, but he still lectured you otherwise.

And now it was finally the holiday weekend, everyone gathered at the front of the school with their important belongings and reunited with their families.

But then there was you, sitting on the bench with your sketchbook, just sketching.

Everyone else looked so happy, while you sat alone.

The truth? You already knew your family wasn't coming for you.

And then why were you sitting out here. Because you didn't want everyone to know that you were the only without a family coming for you.

You waited, and waited, until you were the last one there, which took a few hours.

Army waved to the last family that was leaving and then stared at you.

"Y/N, is anyone coming for you? It's been 3 hours, and calamari county isn't usually that much of a drive." Army asked as he stared into your soul, he knew something was up, and he needed to know.

But of course we can't have a chapter without Y/N falling silent at all..

Army walked towards you and sat beside you and patted your head.

"Y/N, last chance, do you believe anyone is coming for you?" Army asked you, trying to comfort you.

You sighed and quietly said, "yes.."

"Alright," He said shortly after.

"I think my ride is down the hill, bye Army." you said as you left down the hill.

"Goodbye Y/N." Army said, as he headed inside, but couldn't help but feel worried.

He took a peak down the hill where their family should've been happily waiting for Y/N, but it was just Y/N, and a taxi.

Then the taxi drove away, and all that the taxi left behind was a brochure, to Inkopolis Square.

"Hm?" Army said to himself as he picked up the brochure and went back inside to lock up the school and take him, and the rest of team orange, home.

The taxi arrived in Inkopolis Plaza, and you were given a Splattershot Jr, but still snuck your F/W with you.. somehow..

You were excited to play turf war for the first time, just like you'd always wanted to for some many years!

It was blazing snow around the air around you, with your tentacles slightly moving in the direction with the wind blowing them.

It felt so calming, but yet, you were freezing. Like, literally, your feet were stuck to the icy and cold cement.

You tried struggling, nothing much happened.

But when you struggled again, you fell face flat into the ice..

Now that's something an ice pack won't fix..

You got up and made your way slowly towards the battle tower.

It was really busy with a lot of people in the battle tower, but it felt so new.. and so overwhelming to you.

You just kind of zoned out for a while, not really knowing what would happen next, but that's until a pink male inkling was poking you on the head.

You snapped back to reality and quietly asked, "could you stop please?"

"Nah, I don't wanna.." He kept poking you.

"Hey- STOP IT!" You snapped and pushed his golf visor further down his head, leaving a scar, realizing what had done, you backed away quickly..

But you were cornered.

"YOU!" The pink inkling yelled in your face and almost punched you.

Only somebody held him back.

"Aloha, don't punch this newbie, it'll trash our reputation more." It was none other than the one and only Skull.

You tried to back up a tiny bit more while they were busy, but you were forgetting that you were stuck in a corner and slipped and fell on the ground in swim form.

And they noticed this, and Aloha picked you up, calling you adorable.

You were very uncomfortable.

Mask slapped Aloha, making Aloha let go and lose sight of you.

Mask and Aloha argued for a while, and Skull looked over at you as you were just getting lost and bumping into people, "Hm, Typical new player.."
