Army's POV:

I've returned home with the rest of team orange, but there's still this feeling in the back of my mind, worried about Y/N.

Ever since I saw them leave in a taxi instead of their family, I've been insanely worried about them.

It's getting closer to night time, I might as well go check on the rest of the S4 again, afterall, it's been a while.

-

I entered the battle tower to see Mask and Aloha arguing about something and Skull wondering to himself.

"Hello." I said calmly, everyone turned and faced, "I've returned, what have I missed?"

"Aloha almost punched some newbie." Skull answered, "And not much else."

"Newbies don't usually come around this time of year, especially when it's almost time for turf season to close.." I replied, "What did they look like, I could find them?"

"Aloha, your the only one who really saw them, what did they look like?" Mask quietly said while he was playing games on his phone behind everyone else.

"I think they had I/C tentacles.. and the obvious newbie outfit.~" Aloha said playfully.

"Hm, oddly familiar.." I mumbled under my breath.

"Let's just practice until the lobby closes." Skull added and we headed to a recon stage.

- Y/N 2nd person view, (the next day:)

You fell asleep in the lobby overnight, squid force didn't find out though, so that's a plus on you.

You decided to sneakily queue up first and then hid until it was time for your match, which happened quickly.

The bad news? The queuing system said "screw you" and you didn't have any teammates, and the worse news? You got queued against team orange.

You held your F/W tightly and braced for the worst.

You had only won your previous matches because of your teammates, and you were just scared in spawn.

You jumped off your spawn point and land face flat, you've never played on flounder heights before, have you?

Your weapon was too far to just reach, and you struggled to get up. But you looked up, and 90% of the map was already orange, and Army was right in front of you.

"Hello there, Y/N." Army said coldly he aimed his NZap-85 at your head and said, "Don't move, or I'll shoot." More threatening than he wanted.

His teammates painted the rest of the base, while you kneeled in front of Army aiming his NZap-85 at your forehead.

"Good Y/N.." he said as the match ended with Team orange with 99.9% of the map painted.

While you laid there in defeat, Army got Sailor-W and Sailor-B to carry you back their apartment.

You were slightly conscious on the way there, but what you remember from Army were some chilling words, "You think I wouldn't have realized that you didn't have any guardians on your file?" (SEE YALL! I TOLD U!)

-

But you learned something new today, Team Orange has extra bedrooms in their apartment.

Forge opened the door to the guest bed room and both of the sailors placed you down.

Everyone left the room, expect Army.

Army stood beside the you.

"I could've just left you on the street, be thankful we decided to let you stay with us." Army said, and left the room and shut the door shortly afterwards.

Well that was stunning..

Surely this had to not actually be happening right now.. right?

No? It is? You got stuck with Team Orange for the rest of the holiday break..

You gave yourself a hug and told yourself to brace yourself, this was gonna probably be quite rough.

You sat there and just waited, waited for instructions or answers, I mean, you were more awake now, and actually able to function.

It felt like a while until Army or someone else on their team actually decided to make sure that you were mentally sane. And in this case, it was Sailor-W, "Hey Y/N, curry is ready!" She said softly and at quite a good pace, while her tentacles swung in the room as she entered.

You responded with a nod and followed her back, but you couldn't help but feel a bit anxious.

But you put that behind you and took a seat formally, but stayed silent.

The only empty seat was in between Army and Sailor-B, you could feel as the time went on that Army was definitely keeping his eye on you.

But Army decided to ask you out of curiosity, "Y/N, did you talk to anyone besides us since you came to the square?"

You thought for a moment, and then you remembered meeting the rest of the S4, "y-yeah I did.." You said quietly.

"Hm, may I ask for how many people?" Army then asked you, waiting for your response.

You replied with 3 fingers instead of speaking.

"Hm, may I guess it was the remaining members of the S4?" Army the asked you sternly, it all just fit together suddenly.

You took a moment and then nodded.

"so that's why Aloha and Mask were arguing.." Army murmured before saying, "thanks Y/N," and proceeded to finish his curry, along with you as well.

After you finished, Army looked over at you again and said, "Since you've met the S4 already, could you perhaps attend the S4 meeting that I'm already going to, in 2 hours?" You were a little star struck, but yet- you did remember what happened earlier, you didn't respond in time, so Army just assumed it was a yes.

You obviously did the dishes, cause, well.. cmon, you lied to Army earlier, and had him very worried about your health, so it's better than no reason.

- Timeskip by Y/N's happiness whenever they receive a head pat -

"Y/N, I'm heading to the S4 Meeting, follow me." Army said to you as he gave you a hand signal to follow him.

You followed him, and he helped you get there without getting lost all the sudden.

You were a bit starstruck, but the S4 actually made you worried, especially for what happened yesterday. You then took a deep breath, and there you were.
