Devon Lee: A True Champion Rises

Devon visits Tory

As the next morning came around and the sun came up. The weather was a bit windy today and breezy in Los Angeles. Devon, was practicing her skills in her karate at her apartment in Reseda. "I am getting pretty good." She said with herself.

"I think you are going to be stronger than me." Tory said as she saw Devon practicing from her apartment. "Hi, you l live here too?" Devon asked as she was happy to see Tory. Tory nods and smiles "yes, how are you doing and feeling? Why did you join Cobra Kai?" She asks curiously. Devon looks at her as the wind was swirling around them, "I joined after the sparring session because I wanted to get better at the competition and my skills and I didn't think Sensei Johnny would want me back after he shut down." She spoke with sadness.
Tory nodded in understanding and spoke "I thought, you were getting revenge back at me for our match. The ref was cheating that time as well. Silver was paying him to make Cobra Kai win. So clearly you probably could have won against me. I think that trophy belongs to you because I should have done it in the first place." She said. Devon was shocked by Tory and said "So, when I got hit by you in the face when I stepped out of bounds didn't count?" Devon asked clarifying. Tory nods and spoke "yes, you seem very potential skillful fighter and even when you fought Sam." Tory says. Devon nods in understanding. "My cheek was sore after that hit to my face. I guess I'm a tough fighter." She said jokingly.

Tory smiled and asks "outside of karate world, how you doing in school these days?" She was wondering. Devon spoke "I am in college now, I got the scholarships that I told you about. I am at UCLA now." She responded. Devon was wondering where Tory is at these times, " I am doing college too but online. I am glad you are the champ of school." She joked.  Devon nods and smiles.  "Now, I have an another tournament coming up and I hope I have refs that know how to call the tournament." Devon spoke. Tory nods and says "I will be there to support you. I am glad that you don't have to deal with the drama anymore." She said. Devon smiled and nodded as she was understanding Tory. Devon spoke "Thanks, however, I'm aware of the situations that occurred in the past, I just focused on getting better in my interests. I was there during the high school fight and the terrible incident. But anyhow, I just love extra curricular activities and such." She smiled.
As they were eating lunch together and having a good time with each other. The wind was blowing their hair around. "Are you and Robby still together?" She was curious about. Tory nods and spoke "yeah, we are." She said happily. As they both continued their lunch and conversation, they decided it was time to leave for today. "Thank you for the day Tory, I hope too see you at the tournament or anywhere else!" As they went to their apartments.
