"Its a body"

Farrah had no clue those three simple words would impact her like they did. A shiver ran down her spine, she knew this was a bad idea.

"Holy shit!" Calum cursed, moving to stand next to the unidentified person.

"Are they alive?" Farrah asked, too scared to move any closer.

In a sense, she already knew the answer. She just needed some type of clarification. Calum placed two fingers on the guys wrist, after a minute or so he did the same to his neck. His eyes were wide as he took a step back.

"Well?" Farrah pushed, nudging his arm.

Calum looked down at his girlfriend, too in shock to know what to say. What were they going to tell the police?

"No." He whispered.

Farrah gasped, covering her mouth with her hand. "What are we going to do?"

Calum ran a hand through his thick hair. He wished he could've gave her an answer, like he always does. But this time he couldn't. Even if they were to notify the police, they'd have to go into questioning, plus get in trouble for being out this late.

"Let's just go," Calum declared.

Farrah looked at him like he was crazy, but he wouldnt know because he was already marching back in the direction they came from.

"Calum, no!" Farrah ran and grabbed his wrist. "We can't just leave him there!"

"Well what do expect me to do!?" He snapped, "that guy is dead and we just had to be the ones to find him! Do you know how much trouble were going to be in?"

"Well, no-" Farrah started to say. She was so taken back by Calum's outburst, he rarely yelled at her.

"Exactly!" Calum threw his arms up.

"Calm down, please." She tugged him into a hug. He buried his cold nose into her neck, but she didn't mind. It was when he choked out a sob that she became confused.

"I can't calm down, I can't," he cried. Her shoulder was beginning to get drenched. "I knew that guy Farrah!"

"Shh, its okay." She coo'd, rubbing his back. Farrah was always one Calum went to when he needed comfort, but she'd never seen him like this.

"I knew him!" He kept repeating. "One of my closest mates is dead and we found him!"
