After Calum had calmed down a bit, Farrah slid her phone out of her pocket and handed it to him, rubbing his back as he hiccupped more sobs. She hated to see him so upset, and honestly she felt so uncomfortable standing in the middle of the woods beside a dead body, but there was no time to panic.
"Call the police, they need to know." Her words were sharp as Calum nodded, taking the phone and walking a few feet away.
He wiped his face off with his long jacket sleeve, the cold piercing his now wet flesh. He huffed, searching for enough courage before dialing the number.
Farrah stared down at her shoes. Her eyes trying to focus on something that made her comfortable, but she couldn't help but to daze at the lifeless blue headed boy. She had so many questions running through her mind, none she could find answers to.
She stared at his eyes. The eyes that once had a meaning but now the dull green color only stared off into a eternity of nothingness. His look was sad, rather heartbreaking for someone she never knew. She wanted to know what was on his mind before he decided to leave.
Her eyes wandered down his face, examining his puffy colorless cheeks. His lips slightly parted as he was positioned on his back, his arm outstretched and head turned.
She could hear Calum mumble words into her phone, sighing in relief that someone was being notifyed. Calum hung up, walking back over to Farrah and simply sliding her phone into her back pocket.
"They're on there way," He sighed, resting his chin on the top of her head. "I told them where we are, they said it shouldn't be long."
Farrah nodded, turning around so she could wrap her arms around Calum's torso. "I'm so cold," she said into his chest. Her body was basicly begging for heat.
"He was such a good person," Calum stated, ignoring his girlfriend. He felt so numb right now, like nothing else mattered. Farrah hugged him tighter, hoping that it would help comfort him, but his eyes stayed trained on the boy laying on the ground.
His chest was aching, he never wished to see one of his best mates like this.
"Calum?" Farrah questioned, tipping her head back to look him in the eyes. "What's his name?"
Calum let out a long shaky sigh. His voice cracked as he spoke,
"Michael."
