A/N: the first chapter! I can't wait to write this book :) it's gonna start when they're on the boat as I'm too lazy to do a whole intro.
y/n POV:
Jake and I are currently on the boat going to Cairnholm, Wales with our dad. Jake said grandpa had something for him to do I was never close with my grandpa so I don't know what he's talking about but I'm here to support him.
I hear Jake and dad talking but I zone them out and think about what I'm gonna do on this island it's in the middle of nowhere I sigh and start to read some comics I brought with me.
(I can't remember how long the boat ride is so I'm just skipping to when they're 5 minutes away)
I'm finishing up my Spider-Man comic when Jake shakes me "hey, we're nearly at the island" he say's and I nod while packing away my comics "we need to sit down for when we arrive so sit down please" Jake say's to me and I sit down smiling at him.
When we get onto the island we grab our stuff and head off the to hotel. Finding out way there was easy it's just dad didn't like it that much I shrugged it off it's perfect for us.
When we get into the room after getting the key we chose where we're sleeping when Jake speaks "hey y/n want to go look around the island?" He asks and I nod "yeah let me just change into a new outfit" I reply and go to the bathroom to get changed.

Once I get out of the bathroom I see dads also ready to go "oh are you also coming along?" I ask and he nods I nod and walk out of the room with my cassette player and headphones. We have been walking around for at least 5 minutes dad and Jake start talking I zone them out and continue on with my music.
I take off my headphones when dad starts to approach 2 boys "hey, dudes!" He said and I sigh as he carry's on "I was just wondering if any of you guys might be interested in taking my sons here, to the other side of the island?" He asks they look at each other "oh and what are your names?" Dad asks "I am Worm, this is M.C. Dirty D. M.C. Dirty Business" he say's and my dad makes a confused face when the boys start to bicker "would you boys be able to take them?" My dad asks again and the 2 boys nod Jake smiles but I noticed my dad slipped them money
