Raven strutted through the city streets, her menacing presence formed a towering figure that intimidated everyone around her. The ends of her hair, dyed a pinkish-purple, contrasted against her lovely tan skin. She was a solitary warrior, always pushing forward in hopes of conquering her rivals.

'Hey Raven! Hey Raven!'

Raven's blood ran cold as the familiar voice of Connor, her shy and naïve fan, called out to her. She refused to show any signs of emotion and instead continued walking, blatantly ignoring him.

But as she walked, Aaron and Connor, caught up with her.

'Come on Raven.' Aaron placed a friendly arm around her shoulder. 'Let's go watch a movie today. It'll be fun.'

Raven raised an eyebrow in surprise and reluctance, but eventually agreed. Aaron was too persuasive to ignore.

The trio soon reached Uptown and randomly entered the nearest movie theatre. Ravens heart raced with anticipation as they entered. She was surrounded by a crowd of strangers, all of whom she was convinced were secretly plotting against her.

However, as the movie began, she was quickly entranced by the captivating story unfolding before them. For a brief moment, she was able to forget about her enemies and instead focus on the story.

But when the movie ended, Raven quickly snapped back into reality and cautiously scanned the crowd to make sure none of her competitors had followed her.

'That was a great movie!' Connor said with enthusiasm.

'It was OK,' Raven dryly replied, still guarded.

Aaron smiled at her reaction. Raven found herself strangely comforted by his presence.

But before she could speak, Aaron and Connor had already left the theatre. Raven quickly caught up with them and the trio headed back to the city roads.

As they walked down the street, Raven slowly began to open up to Connor, eventually confiding in him about her dreams and ambitions.

Soon enough, they were back at the city centre and Raven could see her apartment building in the distance.

She looked up as the sun set, the soft orange and pink hues casting a gentle light over a perfect backdrop of the hustle and bustle of city life.

The sky was soon filled with stars, and as Raven looked up, for the first time, she felt a sense of peace.

With that, the trio broke up and parted ways, each of them feeling a little bit more relaxed about where life could take them. Aaron and Connor soon were off to pursue their own dreams while Raven returned home to pick up where she left off. Although Raven still had plenty of doubts and fears, she could feel the sense of optimism nagging at her.

It was the feeling of being surrounded by genuine friends, each one offering something unique and special. It was a feeling that and Raven was happy to have, if only for a moment.

Little did she know that moments like this can last a lifetime. Who knows what the future holds from now on.
