FLASHBACK

Yesternight

Alice just got out from her work and was now strolling down to a street just a block away from where she lived. The street was so quiet she could hear the crickets chirping. And she could also hear the light footsteps that were coming from behind her. She thought it was just another person like her walking home. But, when she turned to her street it still was there, following her.

She decided to just turn around and take a peek at the person but, to her dismay there was no one around. She swore she heard someone.

She took a deep breath and sprinted. She considered screaming but it would cause chaos, she wasn't even sure if it really was someone. She heard the footsteps again. But, when she was, like, a house far from her home, the footsteps stopped.

She faced the opposite direction again and breathed out a sigh of relief. She saw and heard nothing.

"It's probably all in my head," she thought. But

deep, deep down inside, she knew she thought wrong.
