Lost
>>>>———— 🍀 ————<<<<The morning sun painted streaks of golden hues across the city as Agni slowly opened her eyes. The initial moments of consciousness were serene, but it didn't take long for her to realize that something was amiss. The spot next to her was cold; Aryan wasn't beside her.
Aryan?
Frantically, she searched the room, her heart pounding in her chest, calling out his name, but there was no response. Agni's frown deepened, and she hopped out of bed, her bare feet touching the cool wooden floor. She continued calling out his name as she descended the stairs, her voice echoing through the empty house, but he was nowhere to be found.
That's when Agni remembered Aryan mentioning that he had gone out last night. But did he not come back home at all? The worry intensified, and a knot formed in her stomach.
She rushed back to their bedroom and quickly grabbed her phone from the nightstand. Her trembling hands dialed his number, her heart pounding in her ears, but her calls went unanswered, each ring amplifying her anxiety.
Desperation set in, and Agni's mind raced with thoughts of where Aryan could be. She needed answers, reassurance. Without hesitation, she dialed Saravanan's number, her voice trembling as she waited for him to pick up.
Saravanan?
Sollunga Agni?
Aryan office la irukana?
Illaye Agni
Avan friends kitta kekka mudhiyuma? Nethu avanga veetuku dhan ponnan
Saravanan noticed the desperation in her voice, he quickly rushed to Rakshan's cabin with Agni's call on hold,
Deyh, Aryan yenga da?
Agni kitta dhan kekanum
Agni'ku theriyama dhan da ungala kekka sonnanga, paithiyangala!
Rakshan and Pugazh, who was also in the cabin, exchanged a glance before shaking their heads, their expressions mirroring their bewilderment.
Appo yengalukum theriyala
Avan nethu night ungala paaka dhan varennu sonana?
Engala paakava?
Seeing how clueless and shocked the boys got Saravanan realized that they too knew nothing of Aryan's whereabout. He immediately returned to his call,
Agni, Aryan anga pogala
Panic shot through her like a lightning bolt,
Neenga konjam thedringala? Na Madhan'ku inform panren?
Ok Agni

The minutes stretched on, each one feeling like an eternity as Agni hurried through her morning routine. The urgency to find Aryan consumed her every thought; the mere idea of him being in trouble was unbearable.
Her mind raced, playing out every worst-case scenario, especially the one involving John. Aryan had expressed his concerns about him before, and now those worries echoed in Agni's mind.
As she stepped into her car, her hands gripping the steering wheel tightly, the tires screeched as she pressed the brakes. Could Aryan have gone to John's house? Could there be any connection between John and Aryan's sudden disappearance?
Agni's intuition grew stronger, a gut feeling guiding her actions. Without a second thought, she turned the wheels towards John's house.
Agni came to a sudden halt on the front porch, her car parked haphazardly, her urgency overriding any concern for proper parking. Slamming the car door shut, she strode towards the entrance, her heart pounding in her chest. But to her astonishment, before she even had a chance to ring the doorbell, the door swung open.
Rachel, standing in the doorway, glanced at Agni, her eyes scanning her from head to toe. Agni's breath caught in her throat, a mix of anticipation and anxiety swirling within her. Gathering her composure, she inhaled sharply and asked,
Aryan yenga?
This encounter marked a rare occasion for Agni and Rachel to engage in conversation. Typically, the two women barely exchanged eye contact, let alone exchanged words.
Rachel's gaze shifted momentarily, her eyes darting behind her to where Nalan, John's personal assistant, stood, observing the interaction with a watchful eye. Returning her attention to Agni, Rachel took a moment to compose herself, carefully gathering her breath before uttering her words.
Theriyalae, but
Agni's brows furrowed in a frown as she looked at Rachel, her eyes filled with confusion and curiosity. Rachel, in response, nodded her head,
He knows
Just as Agni and Rachel were about to continue their conversation, they were interrupted by Varun, who approached with a haughty smirk on his face. He took pleasure in seeing Agni desperately searching for Aryan, finding it pathetic how both Aryan and Agni had transformed from cunning individuals to lovesick puppies. Varun positioned himself in front of Rachel, causing her to step back slightly, and said,
Sir, unna pakanuma
As Varun reached out to grab Agni's hand, his confidence faltered in an instant. Agni's gaze alone was enough to stop him in his tracks. Fire, her eyes blazed with an intensity that resembled fire, and without even moving an inch, her glare seemed to burn through Varun's very soul, reducing him to ashes.
In the blink of an eye, Varun's arrogant demeanor and tone vanished into thin air, replaced by a newfound humility. Agni made it abundantly clear that she was the one in charge, asserting her dominance without uttering a single word. Her presence alone spoke volumes, leaving Varun with no doubt as to who held the power in this encounter.
Varun quickly stepped aside, his throat tightening as he swallowed nervously. Agni's deadpan glare continued to haunt him, lingering in his mind like a relentless predator, as she confidently stepped into John's house.
It was within these very walls that Agni had once made a deal, a pact that she would rid herself of Aryan. And now, in a twist of fate, she found herself hoping to find him.
