Aryan paced outside the ward where Agni was being examined, his heart pounding against his sleeve. Calls to his friends went unanswered, and even Saravanan wasn't picking up. The weight of the news must have spread throughout the office, branding him as a failure and a traitor in the eyes of everyone.

Aryan was on his way home to Agni early in the morning when he received a call from Shekhar's wife, informing him that some men had broken into their house and abducted her husband. However he didn't expect to find Shekhar at John's place and he just knew what must have happened.

The doctor came out of the ward, and Aryan looked at her expectantly. She gestured for him to follow her to his cabin, and he complied. Once inside, she asked,

Neenga avanga husband ah?

Aryan shook his head,

We are in a relationship

The doctor sighed, clasping her hands on the table she announced,

She is pregnant

Aryan's eyes widened, his breath caught in his throat. For a moment, the world seemed to blur around him, and he struggled to process the doctor's words.

Six weeks, her blood pressure dropped so she fainted. She's also very weak, this is not good for the child.

Avangaluku theriyuma?

The doctor nodded.

As Aryan entered the ward, a heavy atmosphere seemed to envelop the room. His breath caught in his throat, the weight settling over him like a cold shroud. The steady beeping of medical equipment provided a dissonant rhythm.

His gaze fixated on Agni, lying motionless on the hospital bed. The rhythmic sounds of her heartbeat, amplified by the machines, echoed in the space. Two heartbeats.

Aryan's eyes drifted down to Agni's abdomen, where new life quietly took form. It was a revelation that should have been joyous, but circumstances had twisted it into something else. The prospect of impending parenthood, discovered in the midst of chaos and betrayal, left Aryan with a profound sense of failure.

His gaze remained fixed on Agni's peaceful face, her vulnerability accentuated by the clinical surroundings. The beeping of the monitor offered a rhythmic backdrop to the silent promises he was making to himself and to the life that was beginning to take shape within her. Aryan's grip on Agni's hand tightened, as if to anchor himself in the face of uncertainty.

The medical staff assured Aryan that Agni had been given an injection to induce rest, and they mentioned that it might be a few hours until she woke up. Aryan, in a delicate gesture, entwined his fingers with hers as he took a seat beside her on the chair. The room, filled with the sterile scent of hospitals, became a silent witness to the silent vigil Aryan was keeping by Agni's side.

Avan un kitta yenna sonnan'nu enaku innum therla, ana onnu mattum solren. Na unna yematha nenaikila, kapatha dhan nenachen

As Aryan blinked back his tears, he gathered his breath, the weight of the situation pressing on him like a ton of bricks. With a determined tone, he stated,

Ippo na seiya poradhum seriya thappa'nu enaku therla, ana unna badhrama pathuka, nee tholachadhu yellam thirupi kodhuka, enaku vera vali illa Agni. I'm sorry

Aryan kissed her forehead, a mixture of emotions playing on his face. He delicately kept her small palm close to his heart, as if trying to share the warmth that resided there. A bittersweet smile crept across his face, carrying the weight of a broken heart. He knew that what he was about to do next would only deepen the fractures in their relationship. But in his heart, he believed it was the only way to keep her safe, to protect everything she had worked so hard for from falling into John's grasp.

With a last, lingering glance at Agni, a silent promise hanging in the air, Aryan reluctantly released her hand. He turned away, the quiet determination in his eyes conflicting with the sadness etched on his features.

The door swung open, unveiling Aryan standing there. Rachel furrowed her brows in confusion, but John, seemingly aware of the purpose behind Aryan's unexpected visit, gestured for Nalan to allow him entry. Aryan walked in with an air of purpose, and Rachel eagerly anticipated him bringing news-perhaps the confirmation of severing ties with Agni for good. However, to her surprise, Aryan paid her no heed, not even a passing glance. His focus was solely on John, as if he had a singular mission in mind.

Sollu Aryan

Enaku Royals venum

Sorry?

Enaku Royals venum

John managed not to reveal his surprise. He had anticipated that Aryan, in his deep affection for Agni, might consider relinquishing his share, which would add immense value for John, making everything his. However, he hadn't anticipated this specific turn of events. A sense of foreboding crept over him; there seemed to be a hidden agenda behind Aryan's declaration.

Royals'oda CEO position enaku venum

Aryan's intense gaze held John's, and in that moment, it was a silent battle of wills. The room crackled with tension as both men recognized the strategic dance being performed.

John, ever the schemer, couldn't help but appreciate the chess move Aryan was making. The lean forward, the firm placement of palms, it all spoke of a resolve that John was familiar with. Aryan wasn't just accepting defeat; he was strategizing, planning his next move.

Aryan's demand for the CEO position at Royals wasn't just a power play; it was a tactical move to prevent John from seizing complete control. It was a strategic maneuver to thwart John's plans for absolute dominance. Aryan knew that to protect Agni's legacy and salvage what was left of their lives, he needed to be on the inside.

As Aryan locked eyes with John, there was a message conveyed without a single word spoken. It was a declaration that, despite the current setback, the game was far from over.

Deal?

John's smirk acknowledged the challenge, and in that exchange of glances, a new chapter of the unfolding saga seemed imminent.

Deal
