Part 1

A Twist of Fate

The boy was sitting at his respective table in the restaurant which has a very cozy and warm ambiance with dim lighting and soft music playing in the background. The atmosphere gives off a romantic vibe, making it a perfect place to spend an evening with a loved one. Overall, it's a wonderful place to spend an evening and enjoy a delicious meal. but he seemed preoccupied and lost in thought, absentmindedly playing with his food. He was so engrossed that he didn't even realize who he was dining with until that person called out his name, bringing him back to reality.

??:- " Hey Jungkook, are you okay? I noticed you seem a bit distracted. Is everything alright? ( She noticed his absent-minded behavior and asked him about it. )

JK:- "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit tired".(he just shrugged it off as he was indeed tired and wanted the dinner to finish quickly)

??:- I noticed you've been quiet since you arrived, and you haven't been paying much attention to what I'm saying. Being a CEO must be quite hectic and challenging. (She said this because she wanted to continue the conversation.)

Jk:- As you may already know, I have just taken over, so things can get a bit hectic. ( "He said blankly, but still showed interest, as it was about something he loves.")

??:- Well, how could I not know, you are always in the headlines, and in a very short time you have taken your company to such heights that the whole world knows about you. ( She Praised him) I consider myself fortunate to be marrying you.

Jk:- (Hearing this, he takes a deep breath and starts to speak, but before he can say anything, someone slams their hands on their table, startling both of them..) Look, Suzy, I ca-------( They both look at the person, one surprised and the other confused.)

Suzy:- Upon seeing the person, Suzy bit angrily asked, "Who are you, and what is this nonsense?"

(She doesn't receive any response. Instead, she notices that the man is staring at Jungkook, which irritates her. Jungkook also makes eye contact with the man. She assumes that Jungkook knows the man and thus, asks him about it.)

Suzy:- Jungkook, do you know this guy? ( After hearing this question, both of them break their gaze and look towards Suzy. Jungkook is about to say something but before that, the boy starts speaking)

??:- before that can you tell me who you are and what you are doing here with my boyfriend? (Upon being asked a question by the boy, Suzy looked at him in shock while Jungkook looked down and sighed.)

Suzy:- Boyfriend?? ( she mumbled to herself then looked at Jungkook's side) W-what he is talking about Jungkook? ( she asked) Aren't we here to talk about our marriage? then ho-----( before she could complete her sentence the boy spoke.)

??:-hold on. What do you mean by marriage and "our" you mean you and Jungkook? (He asked her to clarify if she was referring to herself and Jungkook when she mentioned marriage and "our". When she confirmed, he looked at Jungkook in shock.)

Jk:-Taehyung. (JK screamed and stood up from his seat when he saw tears in Tae's eyes, who staggered back a couple of steps but were still looking at him in complete disbelief.) Tae, listen to me. This is not true as you are thinking. Let me explain. ( He held his hand, and pulled him into his arms, not wanting to let him go without explaining to him).

Tae gently pushes JK away to separate himself from him. And spoke.

Tae:- Isn't all this enough to know what is happening? what else is left? Just let me go, Kook. ( he said in a broken voice, tears already streaming down his face)

Jk:- Tae, please, let me explain. You seem to be misunderstanding everything. ( jk said )

Tae:- Ohh really? Do you even hear what you're saying? Over the past month, you've been avoiding me. You hardly have any time for me, and whenever I call you, you're either too busy or you don't answer my calls. And now I catch you while you were having dinner with your potential wife. And you're telling me that I'm the one who's misunderstanding? (he bursts out)

Jk:- tae PLEASE. ( He helplessly called him, but Tae was not having it he harshly wiped his tears and held his hands. And asked)

Tae:- Tell me Jungkook, can you tell me what went wrong? Wasn't I enough for you? What have I done to upset you so much? Why are you punishing me like this? Didn't you even consider our relationship, or was it so weak that it didn't matter to you? Or was it because of that? (He hiccupped) i-I know, I know we are not ready. we never had any talk about that. But things happen and we can't do anything about that. It's your own flesh kook. Our baby, our symbol of love. ( he said and put Kook's hand on his stomach, making kooks eyes go wide)

Both of them became so engrossed in their conversation that for a while, they forgot about the third person who was also present and listening to them with mixed emotions. However, when she heard a particular sentence, she lost her composure and interrupted them.

Suzy- What's going on here? Can someone please explain what is happening here? Jungkook ( she demands an answer)

Upon hearing his name, Kook looked at her and then towards Tae, who was still crying. He sighed because he knew that he had a lot to explain to both of them.

Jk:- Tae and Suzy, please have a seat. I want to explain everything to you both before you make any decisions. You both must hear me out first. ( JK helped Tae to sit beside him and gave him water to drink. ) Please don't cry, my baby boo. You know how much I hate seeing tears in your eyes. (He says it with great affection and tenderly wipes away his tears with his finger.) And Suzy, I'm sorry, but I cannot marry you. I hope you can understand that I have already someone whom I love the most, and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. The reason why I'm here today is to personally tell you this. I know it might be hard to hear, but I hope you can say no to your dad's marriage proposal. My parents don't know about our relationship, and that's why they accepted your dad's proposal when you guys came to our home for dinner. I hope you can help us by saying no to the proposal. It will be a great help for us, and I can't imagine living without my baby and my baby's Mumma. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

There was silence for a moment before its break by Suzy who spoke.

Suzy:- It's okay, you don't need to apologize. I understand and appreciate you telling me everything before it got too complicated. Don't worry, I'll help you guys. ( she said understanding the situation.)

Jk:- Thank you, Thank you so much. I mean that. ( he said feeling grateful and again there was silence)

Suzy:- um I think I should leave now,(said while standing from her seat) you have another thing that needs to be resolved,( She looked at Tae who still seemed to be feeling guilty for doubting his boyfriend.) so it would be better for me to go but, first I would like to tell you to tell your family as soon as possible because you guys don't have time. And congratulations. ( Saying that she left from there).

After the girl left, the kook's posture dramatically changed, and a smirk appeared on his face. He leaned towards Tae and whispered to him, who now looked more relaxed.

Kook:- hey, my baby's Mumma.
