The sun had just begun to set but the surroundings were getting darker as the tall dense trees prohited its orange glow from passing through.

Felix had been shocked, still unbelieving the shit that he just went through. He honestly thought he was going to die without giving birth to his pups and at least holding them which was a huge blow for him mentally.

But now here he was in his husband's car with Chans shadow walker cousin Hyunjin, the Alpha had been trying to make conversation with him to keep him from falling asleep but he was really tired and strained.

He kept on dozing off only for Hyunjin to shake him awake again.

"Come on Felix, you have to stay awake. Think about your pups, you need to stay awake for them. We're going to be arriving at the hospital soon" Hyunjin said like an old record on repeat.

"I'm tired" Felix said his eyes getting blurry, seeing black dots cloud his vision.

The omega wanted to rest because he was relieved to have a relative close to him, all the fear that he was feeling at the enemy's lair had drained all of his energy. Coupled with his husband's scent that filled the car, he was pretty sure he could rest properly before they got to the hospital.

With that the omega shut his eyes, his breadth evening as his posture relaxed in the back seat. Hyunjin could only sigh before accelerating to get to their destination sooner, Moon goddess forbid would something happen to Felix and the pups.

His heart won't be able to handle something like that, and his thoughts drifted to his own dark shadow omega mate Seungmin.

The other couldn't join the rescue party because his due date was near, and Hyunjin wouldn't let his heavily pregnant mate close to any type of danger.

Thinking of the puppy looking male complaining about being 'locked up in the house because Hyunjin couldn't pull out' made the alpha smile missing his mate as he passed the speed limit to get there sooner.

Meanwhile Chan walked out to the backyard of the church to see Minho in his wolf form hovering over Moonbyuls dead body.

"Minho" Chan called out softly to the alpha who transformed back and moved towards his brother in law.

"I killed her too fast, I should have dragged it out longer" Minho said his dark eyes flashing with regret of giving his brothers molester a quick death.

"Well at least it you made it painful for her, let's go. I'm sure Hyunjin and Felix are at the hospital by now"

"En"

The two Alphas turned back and walked into the church to see Hwasa chained up in black looking chains screaming and begging for mercy.

"Huh what are those?" Minho asked intrigued by the screams being let out by Hwasa and the dazed fear in her eyes.

"Ah those are Hellious Chains, made by Heides himself. They'll make you experience your worst fear as well as the feeling of your flesh being burned by hells fire. The best part is that they can work anywhere, tearing both your soul and body. He gave me those as a gift when I was thirteen, said a teenage boy needed to be evil as possible to survive in the human world." Chan said savoring seeing Hwasa in pain.

" And here I was thinking of gifting my future niece and nephews puppies, guess I gotta up my bar" the dark moon alpha replied lightening the mood making them both laugh and proceed to get to their loved ones.

Upon reaching the hospital, the medical team sprang into action, providing Felix with the urgent care he desperately needed. As he was wheeled into the operating room, Hyunjin's heart was heavy with worry, yet filled with hope for a positive outcome.

He wouldn't let any negative thoughts cloud his time at such a moment.

Whilst Chan was in the helicopter with Jungkook and Minho, he immediately felt his heart beat pick up before it dropped stilling for 3 seconds before it beat back to normal but with a deep fear rising within him.

"Something is wrong" he whispered clutching at his heart.

"What?" Minho asked Chan worried.

"Something is wrong with Felix and the pups, I can feel it" he said a tear streaming down his face as his heart beat slowed down a second time.

"Hey if this thing has a gas pedal, I suggest you step right on it"

Jungkook rushed decreasing the estimated arrival time of twenty minutes to eight.

The remaining eight minutes tense, the noise of the helicopter blurred out by each of the males praying and hoping for the safety and survival of Felix and the pups.

"Mother, Moon Goddess Selena I call upon you now as your son for you to protect my mate Felix. Make him strong enough to get through it" Chan prayed in a whisper.

"Don't say that" Minho said holding Chans shoulder for support.

He guessed what the older was praying for but he didn't want to believe it himself, he did not want his little Lixie to go through something like that.

Landing at the hospital roof, Hyunjin was already there waiting for them. Looking like he just had his life drained out of him.

Chan got out of the helicopter and strode towards his cousin, a question asked through unspoken words and Hyunjins only reply,

"I'm sorry"
