It was 4:40pm and Chan was rounding up his work making sure he finished all today's work when he got a call from Jennie.

Hey oppa can you please come and pick me up on your back, Felix oppa didn't come today and his phone is going on voicemail.

Maybe he was just too busy with the twins today, give me twenty minutes and I'll come pick you up then we'll go to Minho's house and pick him up OK.

Jennie cuts the call not even waiting for Chan to say bye and he chuckled at the youngers cute antics.

Chan wondered why Felix didn't at least inform Jennie that he wasn't going to pick her up, that wasn't like his husband at all.

'Maybe he just forgot' he says to himself and closes his office and goes to the parking lot were his black Aston Martin is parked.

Getting inside his car he couldn't help but feel a shiver run down his spine but he shrugged it off.

Driving to Jennies school he sees the younger waiting for him alone at the school gate and beeps for her.

"Get in" he opens the door for her.

"Hey oppa, how was your day" Jennie says strapping in her seatbelt.

"It was ok, How was school?" Chan shortly answers.

"It was great made a new friend and her name is Lisa" Jennie says beaming with happiness showing her gummy smile.

"Oh , that nice" Chan says smiling back to her.

After that the drive to Minho's house is filled with Jennies blabbering and Chan nodding along to his sister.

Chan parks the car upon arriving but frowns not seeing Felix's car in the driveway.

Chan and Jennie both get out of the car and go on to ring the doorbell,

Ding dong! Ding dong!

"Coming , I'm coming.... Fuck!" Minho is heard on the other side before opening the door.

"Oh hey Chan, hey Jennie come in" he stands aside waiting for them to come in but frowns seeing that his brother isn't with them.

"Where's Felix" Minho asks getting in behind them and closing the door.

"Isn't Felix oppa here?" Jennie asks the question Chan was about to ask.

"No he's not, he texted me earlier saying that he was sleepy and not feeling well due to the pregnancy" Minho says frowning even deeper.

Chan can feel the shiver he felt earlier run again through his spine. He looks at Minho with a complicated look.

"He texted me in the morning saying that he was on his way here, there's something wrong" the older alpha says taking his phone dialing Felix's number but its on voicemail.

"He's not answering" Chan says his pheromones turning sour a bit.

"Maybe he ended up returning home since he was not feeling well and he's still sleeping that's why he can't answer his phone" Minho says trying to be calm and logical but his pheromones were also betraying him.
