Hayes' POV

"Nila" I said as I leaned over the island

"What Hayes" she asked

"Can we have the new neighbors over for dinner" I asked

"Girls or boys" she asked

"Ggiirrllss" I said

"Hayes likes a girl" Nash said

"Shut up" I said

"I guess. Go ask if they want to come over for dinner" she said and I walked outside and across the street.

A couple minutes after I rang the doorbell her mom I think came to the door.

"Hello" she said

"Hi I'm Hayes and I live across the street I was wonder if you and your family would like to come over for dinner" I asked

"We would love to what time should we come over" she asked

"When ever you're done getting ready" I said

"Okay" she said and I went back over to my house.

Darien's POV

"HONEY GET READY WE ARE GOING TO THE NEIGHBORS HOUSE FOR DINNER" my mom yelled

"OKAY" I yelled back

I put my phone on the charger and get off my bed and went into my closet.

I put on a black skater skirt, white crop top with light blue tribal print design, black bow bracelet, and black vans.

I went into my bathroom and curled my hair and put it into a ponytail but I put a little bump in the front and put on a black bow.

After that I put on really light silvery purple eye shadow, mascara, and pink nude lipstick.

When I was done and happy with my look I got my phone and walked downstair and my mom was sitting on the couch waiting for me.

"Hey mom" I said

"Come one" she said and we walked out the door and across the street and I realized we were going to the Grier's house for dinner.

My mom rang the door bell and I leaned against the wall on the other side of the door.

"Come in" someone said

We walked in and it was only Nila and Chad.

"Hi I'm Darien" I smiled

"We know Hayes didn't stop talking about you" Nila laughed

"Anyways the boys are in the family room if you want to go in there while we get to know your mother" Chad said

"Okay" I smiled
