But my heart hurt like it's gonna burst when i saw him crying and begging to talk

What does he mean by that?

Does that mean there's a reason why he left? what is it? what's  the reason for him to leave me?

I know he hurt me, but i want to know the truth

What does he mean by that, he leave me to protect me? what's the real reason for him for leave for my sake as he said?

" Shhh, i know. i know it's not all your  fault. You just did what you think good for her. She doesn't know the truth," his brother said in a comforting voice
