The week had gone by in a blur, and despite the morning sickness and the fact that she was sleepier than usual, Emma was managing to hold up. She and Patrick had journeyed to Las Vegas in the wee hours of Friday to Saturday and had remained cooped up in the safety of their hotel room until the evening of the awards.

Emma's heart was pounding wildly against her chest as if trying to break free. She could feel her face growing warmer by the second time she stole a glance at Patrick. The journalist chuckled, barely able to contain their excitement. "Can you tell us how this amazing relationship started and what your plans for the future are?"
"Emma and I have met for a while, but now our relationship has taken a romantic turn," Patrick exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear. "We have big plans, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
