"Alvaro, I need to talk to you."

"Oh, now you need to talk to me. What about the times I tried to talk to you?"

"I wasn't ready. I'm sorry."

Alvaro turns fully around to stare at Juanma.

"The great Juanma is sorry?" He asks, surprised.

"I mean it, dude. I shouldn't have iced you out like that but you shouldn't have been in the chemistry lab with Fede."

"No. We shouldn't have." Alvaro admits.

"I am sorry about choosing Tobias over you. I didn't know how to balance multiple close friendships. Can we start again?"

"Yeah, okay."

Juanma offers his hand and Alvaro hugs him.

"Is Alvaro kissing Martina?" Agus asks.

"He can't be. He wouldn't." Sofi says rushing over.

"What?!" They both shriek together.

"Well?" Lupe asks.

They stand there, absolutely still.

"Girls, how about we go look at wardrobe?" Juanma says taking their hands and looking at Lupe.

Lupe shrugs and claps officially beginning.

"Girls, we need to practice. Sofi, make up, remember?"

"Yes." She says shaking a bit.

"How did you know the girls were overwhelmed? Why did you save them from themselves?"

"They're my friends. I've been watching them around Alvaro. He didn't mean anything by flirting with them. But I could see they thought more of it. I couldn't let nationals be ruined for them."

"Wow. I thought you were above this all."

"No way. St. Mary is an awesome school. I'd come back next semester if I wasn't tied by relation to Pemberly. I'll admit it was a little for me. So nationals wouldn't be ruined for you."

She looks at him.

"What?" He asks nervously.

"I've realized how much I respect you."

Juanma smiles.

"Should we practice?"
