Promises must not be broken!

The ''Solution''

Sirius was nervous while he climbed up the stairs to the boys' dormitory. In the back of his head he actually realized that it was kind of cruel to trick Remus into helping him, but he managed to push this thought even further back. Sirius cautiously knocked on the door to the marauders' dormitory, before he entered. Remus was sitting on his bed leaning against the headboard and he was reading. Why was Sirius even surprised by that? Timidly Sirius sat down on the edge of Remus' bed and cleared his throat.

Remus jumped a bit and his cheeks turned slightly red, but he managed to collect himself and just asked: "Pad, what's going on? What do you want?" Sirius took a long breath before stumbling rather fast over his words: "Moony, do you promise me to do me a favor?" Remus looked confused. He didn't really get why he should promise something like that and why his best friend thought that he wouldn't help him anyways, but he also saw Sirius' nervousness, so without further putting Sirius on the rack, he said yes.

"I wanted you to kiss me and show me how to do it!"

Remus' jaw dropped and suddenly his posture changed from worried about Sirius to flustered about the pictures that popped up in his mind. Nonetheless he was also confused: "And how would that work? I have never kissed someone before..." But Sirius didn't even care: "Me neither! That's great! Than we can practice together! And you promised to help me, so please don't back down!"

For a few seconds both boys just sat on Remus' bed facing each other. Remus was still trying to process what was about to happen, when Sirius already started to close the distance between them. Remus instinctively lowered his head, but Sirius gently placed his fingers under Remus' chin. Remus felt Sirius' warm breath on his lips a few seconds before their lips actually met. Both boys immediately closed their eyes and Remus carefully moved one hand up into Sirius' shoulder length hair, meanwhile Sirius cupped his face in return. They stayed like that for several seconds, before they ran out of breath and pulled away from each other. Remus took a long breath and Sirius was also gasping for air a little bit. "Thanks, buddy!", stated Sirius before he quickly left the dormitory to tell James about their successful plan without even realizing the startled and slightly hurt look on Remus' face.
