There are 3 types of cards in Pokemon, Pokemon, Trainer and Energy. Above is a layout of Pokemon cards covering Pokemon and Trainer card types respectively. Energy cards are simply the color of the energy type with a symbol representing that type in a sphere. Important note: Pokedex entry is a reference to the games and shows where there exists a database containing scientist entries on Pokemon.
