It all sort of started coming together one day while I was coming home from work. I was nineteen then- young and new to the harsh world. I worked full-time at a restraunt, and I worked hard. So, as I was jogging home,  I noticed a figure out of the corner of my eye. Normally, I would have waved and said hello, but I lived in a small apartment. Therefore, I knew all my neighbors. I had never seen this guy before.

He was tall and musclar, yet scrawny. He had brown hair and a deep blue eyes. His shirt was white with the words, "If You Read this, I will tell you to stop checking me out." His pants were an ashy grey. His face, angular and boyish, was completely blank. But his eyes showed something else... Joy? Relief? Anger? Sadness? I couldn't tell.

So I ignored this person and went into my apartment. Several minutes later, I came out for my daily jogg around the apartments, and he was still there. I decided to confront him. I looked at myself and decided I was suitable. My top wasn't that tight and my pants weren't that small.

I walked towwards and him and asked, "May I help you?" He looked slightly surprised. "Uh, yes. I'm looking for an Azara Gokushiro. Do you know her?"

"Yes. Your speaking to her. How may I assist you?" I had a job once as a store attendent, and I guess the whole manners thing wouldn't rub off.

"I understand you lost your memory when you were a child, correct?"

"Uh, yes. I can't remember anything before I was twelve."

"How would you like to regain your memories?"

"That would be great, but, doctors said it is permanent."

"I understand that. Just come with me, and I will be able to restore them."

"Uh, no thank you sir."

And low and behold, that man put his palm on my back and pushed me foreward. How dare he?

"Don't worry, I won't cause any harm," He said calmly, walking me towards the door. And, all in a instant, all the politeness and the niceness was chucked out the window. "I said, I am good!" I growled, stepping on his toes and elbowing his adomen. "Ow! Jeez, Lady, I swear, I'll help-"

"I don't want your wretched help!" I yelled and slammed the door in his face. I listened to him leave; it would seem pointless for me to look through the peephole. I skipped my jogg and made dinner; Mac&Cheese; and got ready for bed. As I opened the blinds so I could check to see if he was there, a figure was sitting under the lightpost. His figure.

Scared out of my mind, I absentmindedly climbed into bed and thought, "Don't worry. You have both bolts on your door locked. You have mace on your bedtable. Your safe." These thoughts deminishing my fear, I fell asleep.

                                                               .......

I awoke to loud pounding on my door. At first I thought, "Oh no! It's Katherine, my coworker! I must've overslept!" But when I looked out my open blinds, I saw it was still dark. I go to work at eight, when the sun is high. Jumping out of my bed, I hurried into the livingroom. Right before my eyes, I watched my door be broken down by two men. The man who came to me yesterday was not among them.

I stared at them, and they stared back at me. A spilt second later, they lunged for me. Something within me ruffled, and I grabbed my baseball bat out of the corner and swung for the first man's head. Hitting him, he stumbled, holding his head. The second man looked at me, looking slightly terrified. But after he saw I was terrified, it was like, "Oh my god she's going to hit me- nevermind."

The first man recovered and lunged for my legs. Stepping out of the way and swiftly hitting his spine with the bat, I watched him collapse in pain. Heck yeah, baby. How you like them apples!? I was so absorbed in gloating, I did not notice the second one coming. He cocked a gun at me while I was looking down at the first man. A spilt second before he fired, I looked up and saw the man face-plant on the ground; sending his gun flying at my head. I ducked and it hit the wall. It fired into the wall, and I could tell Mrs. Vinci would come along any time now.

The man from eariler was standing atop the second man. "I told you I would help," He puffed, taking off his jacket and putting it around my shoulders. "Hurry; any more of those nuisances will be along now anytime now." He said, glancing back at the unconscious men in my living room. I did not disagree this time. Hurrying along in my pajama shorts with only a jacket covering up my flimsy top wasn't that comforting.

As he rushed me along, he looked left and right, as if he was twitchy. Eventually we arrived at an unmarked van, and before he tapped on the door, it flew open. A screechy voice panciked, "What took you so long?"

A black haired beauty looked incredibly panicked as she rushed him and I into the van. The Blond haired man swung back from the drivers seat and grinned, "'Bout time you got here, Karid. Karin's been worried sick." He nodded at me and acknowledged, "We finally track you down, Azara."

"Jared, what did you do?" The blond man commented and sat down next to me, rubbing my back as I cradled my head in my hands, still wielding the baseball bat. "What happened? Who were they? Please don't tell me that just happened," I cried, pulling my face out of my head and stare at the brunette, tears in my eyes, "It didn't just happen!"

I wailed, "I should've listened!" I clutched my heart, if there was one. I had probably just killed a man! A man had probably just tried to kill me! I was so, so, idiotic! It was my fault! Gammit!

My guilt and pain had turned to complete rage. "You!" I growled, grabbing his collar and squeezing tightly. "If you hadn't come along, I would be okay! I'm going to strangle you!" Blondie and Blackie were trying to pull us apart. "Gammit! GAMMIT!" I burst, walking in the limited space of the van. "I'll work harder- I'll start going to church- I'll visit my mom often- I'll donate 45% of my paycheck to the needy- just unmake that happen!" I demanded, facing my head upwards and closing my eyes. The  others looked immensely disturbed.

Collasping on the bench, I cradled my head in my hands once again and I heard the blonde call out, "Idiots coming. One 'o' clock."

I heard a voice command, "Haul it. Just get out of here."

The car screeched and high-tailed it out of there. The blond, peering over his shoulder from the drivers seat, chirped conversationally, "So," He lurched and everyone flew to the right, "Sorry. Civilian in the way. Anyway, why don't we introduce ourselves?" When no-one answered, he started, "Well, I'm Timothy. I'm Envy."

The brunette shrugged and said, "Jared. I'm Pride." The black one peeped after him, "I'm Karin. I'm Gluttony."

There was a pause, as if they wanted me to introduce myself. "You seem to already know my name. And what seven deadly sin am I, apparently?" I was so furious I decided to get myself winded up in their insanity. "Oh. Your-" Timothy tried, but all of a sudden, there was a mighty screech and rumbles, and all of a sudden, we lurched to a halt.  The front window shattered and smell of oil filled the air. "Out! Out! Get out!!" Karid commanded, pushing us out, myself still wielding the bat. As we came out, I noticed we were surrounded by goons. I tightened my grip on the bat and gritted my teeth. "Gam." I ground out, readying my bat as they approached, "You." I launched into a flurry of motion with the baseball bat, taking down at least three in eight seconds.  As we fought, I heard Timothy and Jared agree as they passed each other,

                   "She is no doubt Wrath."
