**** I DEFINETLY got the timeline wrong for Harley Quinn was already with Joker around the time that "the Black Zero Event" (when Superman fought Zod) happened so I'm thinking that when Khalida goes to see her in the Chapter "Memories Of The Ones She Lost And The Ones She Gained" she probably imagined it all and Commissioner Gordon once again let it slide for maybe he saw her walk in then out of the building lost in her own little world and he didn't want to arrest her and make everything worse ****

It took Joker 6 months to get Khalida back to where he had her before he screwed up and called her Doll after making love to her he knew she knew him enough not to expect a vocal apology but he tried time and time again to get her to come meet him, chat with him on the phone.... which she ignored for the longest time which put Gotham in a world of danger for he took his anger and frustration out on it.... everytime he got into his car he thought about the wonderful day that turning into a horrible one in a instant when she made love to him then left him after he made a mistake and on the night he finally got her to go out on a date with him and made love to her again.... this time on a bed.... it was ruined once more and this time it wasn't because of something he said or did but because some cop thought he was going to be "smart and brave" and take BOTH of them to prison since they were both together but Joker "persuasively" talked the "brave little boy" to only take him which would give him more "brownie points" with his fellow officers than taking her in which would piss off his superior who everyone knows has a soft spot for her "what is the meaning of this!?!"  Khalida asks the officer as she climbs out of the car "Khali!"  Joker who was already standing by the drivers side door says with a smile as he looks over at her "what!?! it's the middle of the day, you have yet to commit a crime that warrants your arrest so technically speaking he has no true reason to arrest you and I figured you'd want the Bat to take you anyway!"  she replies Joker raises a nonexistent eyebrow at her then says "I'll go nonetheless as long as he's smart and doesn't arrest you"  Joker looks at the officer with a dark dangerous smile and the officer gulps in fear then nods for who knows what Joker will have done to him and/or his family if he didn't listen Joker walks over to Khalida and kisses her lips then says as he places his keys in her hand "be a darling take my car to my place then head home yourself"  Khalida smirks then nods and walks over to the drivers side, climbs in and drives away as the Joker gets cuffed by the frightened officer and as she drives away she calls Frost to have him meet her somewhere so HE could take the car back since she has no idea where the Joker lives.... Joker comes back home a few days later and while he was in prison he went through every memory he has of Khalida for he misses her so and he recalls her saying the name of his favorite "Doll"/plaything.... not that he would EVER consider Khalida a plaything for he actually truly unspeakably loves her unconditionally and everyone who knows him knows it for she makes him do things he would never do without actually making him do them he also would never harm her in any way at least not intentionally.... who was her therapist who ended up forgetting his woman after Joker electrocuted his plaything for fun and this therapist ends up using Khalida's own tease that she always used with her when she speaks to Joker for she had fallin in love with him during her sessions with him at Arkham and it irritates not only Joker but Khalida everytime they hear it coming from her lips and you'll never guess who let him go that's right ladies and gentlemen Commissioner Gordan was the one who set the Joker free and the excuse he gave him was "you're good for her she hasn't harmed or killed anyone ever since the night she was at your club and I know she's met you for I've seen you two together so if you can promise me that you will continue to help her I will let you go it would be nice to see her extinguish some of the red in her ledger"  Joker smiles at those words then says "I can see why she likes you so much" Commissioner Gordon raises a eyebrow at him then threatens "you break her in anyway Joker and I swear....!"  he stops when he sees pain flash over Joker's eyes then says "I'm only doing this once so don't expect anymore get out of jail free cards from me Joker!"  Joker nods with a grin and Commissioner Gordon walks away saying "you get one phone call.... use it wisely"  Joker's grin grows....
