Adora struggles to adapt to motherhood. She begins to neglect the baby to the care of the nursery staff; running off on missions, barely healed. She eventually breaks apart... spectacularly.

Odd one this: it's set across most of S4. ND says the series takes place over 3yrs. S1 was 1yr, S2 & S3 was 6 months, and S4 to end was 1.5yrs. So Part A is S4 EP'S 2 & 3. Part B is 4 & 7. EP's 5 & 6 happen simultaneously, but are irrelevant to the story - so they happen over 1 day. Make sense?
No?

Great 😁

On with the show!

Adora crouched behind the trees, moving slowly. "Stay close, and stay quiet," Her team seemed to listen for all of six seconds. "Just for the record, I'm being way quieter than you-" Netossa hissed to her wife. A twig snapped somewhere nearby. Adora unsheathed her sword, holding it across her body defensively. "Guys, do you hear something?"

Adora gasped quietly. "It's an ambush. Again..." Spinnerella readied her fists, but Netossa ran ahead. She grunted, throwing one of her magical nets at two of the bots. "Ha! Two for one. Still winning!" Adora rolled her eyes softly, lowering her sword slightly. She craned her head, narrowing her eyes at a stationary, seemingly turned off, robot, firmly in the ground.

Adora hesitated. "Is... is that the new weapon?" She asked. Can't be... it's way too... un-Horde like to be a weapon. Maybe a defect they ditched in the woods?

Swift Wind pawed the ground. "It's not very big. Or move-y..." Adora took a few steps forward, nodding in agreement. "It could be a surveillance bot," Bow took the steps forward, approaching the bot. It began to whirr, loudly, illuminating the woods in a horrid bright green light. Bow yelled as the green pulse swallowed his body. Netossa threw a net to protect the remaining three Princesses, to no avail. The pulse came quickly, swallowing the girls in a burst of green light.

...

When Adora woke, she was in the infirmary as Adora again. She rose slowly, rubbing her sore head. "Ah, Princess!" A voice by her side said. "You're awake, good. The Queen requires your assistance immediately!" Adora blinked against the migraine, holding her hand up. "Can I have a second, please?" She snapped. "I hate to be that person, Mr Bobbs," A new voice said. Adora sighed softly. "But I am Princess Adora's nurse. And I need to ask her some private questions, if you wouldn't mind," The nurse walked in, holding a clipboard, smiling sweetly. "But the Queen-" Bobbs began. "-can hang on for five minutes. What good is the Princess if she passes out on the way to see the Queen? We'd be at square one again," The nurse continued smiling. "If you'd be so kind as to update the Queen on Princess Adora's expected arrival, that would be great,"

The aide grumbled as he left.

Adora groaned at the nurse. "Thank you," She whispered, rubbing her eyes. The nurse sat on the edge of the bed. "Whilst it was my pleasure to kick Mr Bobbs out for you, I do have something for you to do, and some questions, I'm afraid," Adora rubbed her head. "Fine, yeah," The nurse pulled out a machine. "The nursery sent me this. Violet's cluster feeding has drained them of the bottles you prepared for her yesterday. They need more," Adora grimaced. "Of course my daughter inherited my love for food," The nurse snorted. Adora fumbled with the machine for a second, before throwing it into her lap with a grumble. The nurse cleared her throat softly. "Would you like some help attaching it? It can be quite... testing... for the first few times,"

Adora sat in silence as the nurse tied the machine to her chest, switching it on. A shudder ran through her body. No matter how many times Vi fed, the feeling of something sucking something out of her, always lit her body up in goosebumps.
