I like the story ending on the cliff hanger it did. But, I also LOOVVEE hooking people in for me. It's designed to be short and chaotic and messy. Trust the process is all I have to say.

Cold. Why was she cold? Was she in Frosta's kingdom?
"Adora? Adora, stay with me,"

No... Catra hated the cold, we're not with Frosta. So... were they wet?
Is that why she was cold?

"Shit, Adora, come on baby, stay with me,"

Why did Catra sound worried? Was... was Prime back?
The world began to become aware as she swayed.

Wait- swayed? No, Adora's feet weren't on the ground. Was she with Swifty?
Is that why she was cold?

"SPARKLES! HELP!"

Oh... is she injured? Is that why she's cold? Huh. Adds up. The adrenaline pumping through her veins was enough for her to run around Etheria and back at least ninety times. Maybe she'd been stabbed. Adora had been stabbed before, during a practice raid. She was so focused on defeating the protesters, she didn't even realise it until Lonnie asked her why she'd changed her white shirt for a red one.

"Adora? What's happened to her?"
More hands touched her body. Her skin tingled and burned. She writhed, whining. "Lemme go," She mumbled. With the awareness of the world came the awareness of her body.

And it hurt.
BIG time.

"It's ok, Adora. We're taking you to the healers. They'll fix you, I promise,"
Was that Glimmer? Or Bow?

"Adora, I've only just got you back. You're not allowed to leave. Not again, not ever,"
Catra, definitely. Adora could feel the slight rumble from her chest.

She whined again, the pain beginning to verge on... well... painful. "Sparkles, just teleport us. I can take it,"

The next thing Adora knew, her nose was tingling in that way it always did after Glimmer had teleported her, and more unfamiliar hands touching her body. She writhed against their touch, pushing away as best as she could. "No, no! Lemme go!" A sudden burn ran in her veins, splitting her skin as it fled her body.

Several thumps resonated in her ears. Was somebody carrying around books? Adora's body tingled again in a way she didn't recognise.
She didn't like things she didn't recognise.

A flux of white hotness burned her vision. She moaned against it- her brain refusing to articulate any coherent words.

The white turned to black as her awareness faded once more.
