Trolls 4 ~| the end of an era|~

Chapter 5-I love you,

Branch lays in his hospital bed, in pain. Poppy finally gets to visit him. He perks up a little bit when he sees her come into the room. "The docter said you may need to get stitches." Said poppy lovingly. "Yeah. I know" said branch tiredly. "Do you remember if creek scratched you with anything?" Said poppy. "I don't remember. Maybe though." Branch said as the nurse came in. "So it seems somthing is stuck in his wound." The nurse said while showing poppy and branch the X-ray.  "It seems to be some kind of capsule thing? He is going to need surgery" said the nurse. "What time will he go in?" Said poppy "10:00am tomorrow." Said the nurse as she walked out. "Queen poppy, you're going to have to leave unless you're family." Said the nurse. "I'm his girlfriend, does that count.?" Since your queen,I'll let it slide. Said the nurse. Poppy stayed by his side all night until falling asleep on the day bed.

The next morning**

Poppy woke up to find branch not in the room. She looked at the clock on the wall and saw it was nearly 10:30 am. **oh no I must have over slept!** she thought in her head. She then got changed into clothes she packed in case she had to stay the night. It was one of the dresses she had bought to impress him. She wanted the best for him when he woke up, so why not give him somthing to look at? She chose  the one with pink flowers fading from blue to green. And wore her crown. She then knocked some papers off the counter and couldn't help but get a glance at some of the words on the first page. They read: vital wound surgery patient: Branch. 53% chance of surviving. Poppy's heart sunk at theese words. Branch couldn't die! She loved him dearly, and things just started settling down! And with her dad across town, he was the closet when she needed love. She took her lucky bracelet out of her hair and put it on her hand.

She made her way into the surgery room. The doctors told her she could stand with him while the anesthesia  took time to work. She held his hand, and slid the bracelet onto his wrist. Then their hug time bracelet went off. She knew she couldn't hug him, so she held his hand close to her and sang, "perfect for me" as they did when they were fighting about barb reuniting the trolls. But they weren't fighting this time, branch's life was on the line. All because of creek.

5 minutes later **

Queen poppy we are going to have to ask you to leave. Asked the doctors. So she did. She went back to her pod and plopped on the couch. The ring rolled out from under the couch touching her foot. She picked it up and thought it was hers. It was pink. That's why. She put it into branches bag so he could maybe feel a piece on her. She then looked at pictures of her and branch not knowing if that was the last time she would see him. Then she looked at the time 9:34pm. She went to bed.
