**Poppy POV***
I woke up today almost completely gray. Viva had stayed overnight for comfort. And it helped. I think. She was there when I woke up. I had tried calling branch but he didn't pick up. We mostly watched movies all day until viva had to leave to help dad with somthing. It was now 4:23 pm. I was on my phone when the door opened. It was branch! I could feel my color get brighter. I ran up and kissed him on the lips. I pulled away and I brought his bags in. We sat down on the couch, and he told me everything. Velvet was taken care of, and his brothers were safe. He asked me why I was such a pale pink. I told him I had been gray because I was worried about him. He wrapped around me in a hug and said he was here now, and I was safe. It felt normal again.
