Chapter Four: I Have A Reason

~Wednesday~

Adam's POV

I walked home alone. No one there to listen to music with, no one there to fool around with, completely and utterly alone.

I groaned and walked through the door, memories floated in and out of my mind. I couldn't escape her, she was everywhere.

I sighed and sat down on my couch plugging in a soundtrack of Aria's, listening to every song brought back another memory. Another sucky memory.

Sydni finished strumming the last line of a song. I smiled and looked down at the floor of Jerome's apartment.

"Aria" I said trying to start a new conversation, "would it be weird if I asked you to sing?"

"A little random.. why?" she asked looking up at me.

"Because I want you too" I whispered, her voice is amazing. I haven't heard it for a while.

"Why?" she asked, "I didn't think-"

"Aria, your name legit means music. I love hearing you sing, you sound so...happy"

I smiled at the memory. Happy. That's the right word. Happy.

"I've got a song for" Sydni said quietly. I smiled and nodded as if saying 'go for it'. She smiled and looked down at her hands and began lightly picking.

"Well you only need the light when it's burning low, only miss the sun when it starts to snow, only know you love her when you let her go" she sang quietly, "only know you've been high when your feeling low, only hate the road when your missing home, only know you love her when you let her go" she paused and looked at me, "and you let her go" she started strumming.

"Starring at the bottom of your glass" Jerome started, "hoping one day you can make a dream last, but dreams come slow and go so fast.."

"You see her when you close your eyes" Ally sang quietly, "maybe one day you'll understand why. Everything you touch, surly dies"

"But you only need the light when it's burning low" Mitch went on, "only miss the sun when it starts to snow, only know you love her when you let her go, only know you've been high when your feeling low, only hate the road when your missing home, only know you love her when you let her go"

"Starring at the ceiling in the dark" Sydni sang, "same ol' empty feeling in your heart, cause love comes slow" seventeen years.. "and it goes so fast" seven months, "you see her when you fall asleep, but never to touch and never to keep, cause you loved her too much, and you dive to deep"

Ally looked at me, "and you let her go"

"No oh oh no" I sang in a whisper.

"You let her go" Mitch sang at me.

"Well you let her go" Sydni did the same.

"Only know you've been high when your feeling low, only hate the road when your missing home, only know you love her when you let her go" Sydni sang quietly.

"And I let her go.." I whispered. Everyone's head shot toward me.

"You love her, don't you?" Jerome asked looking over at.

I nodded sheepishly, "yeah.. yeah I do.."

"We have to tell Aria!" Ally exclaimed clapping, my smile dropped.

"We can't" I whispered, "her sister.. she's gone." I choked back on tears. Why? Why did this have to fucking happen to Aria? Why couldn't we just be together, and not have her asshole sister ruin everything?! Tell me that.

At this point I just completely broke down, in front of everyone, not like I cared. Shes gone, I have a reason.
