Chapter Thirteen: Nintendo Game

Adam's POV

"I thought you were going to take a shower" Jerome said as I came into the reck room.

"I was..." I said still pissed off at Jason and the fact I might never know what he said.

"What's wrong with you your all... tense.." He said still looking at his phone.

Tell him about Jason!

Should I?

Why shouldn't you!?

"Just thinking about... everything" I said, he got the hint and dropped the subject.

"So when are we leaving tomorrow?" he asked, I looked at him like he was crazy, "to see Aria, I mean."

"Oh" I said feeling kinda stupid, "I don't know.. what time are visiting hours?"

"I think 7 to 11 maybe?" He said finally looking up from his phone.

"Then seven thirty? You good with that?"

"Why so early" he whined. I shot him a glare he looked away, "okay seven thirty it is.."

"Good" I said and walked over to one of the futons and fell asleep.

"Aria Muse" I said to the lady at the front desk.

"Okay" she said typing in stuff for her computer, her facial expression changed, "i'll be back. You four can take a seat"

Yeah she said four, it was just supposed to be me Jerome and Andrea. Anna, however, would not let up about wanting to see Aria. Even after explaining how bad she was.

I sat down next to Jerome as the lady came back out, "we can only have one person in at the moment, who will it be?"

I sighed knowing it would be Andrea. Andrea didn't move, Anna shifted. "Adam" she whispered, "go.."

I starred at her in disbelief. It's her sister.. I looked at Andrea who smiled halfly and nodded. Looking at Jerome who just shrugged.

I got up. "Me" I said, the lady smiled.

"Right this way" she said walking away, once we were away from them she spoke up again, "what is your relation to Mrs.Muse" she asked.

"Um" was all I could get out of my mouth. It was a rather good question. What was I to Aria?

She said nothing else, she just pointed to a room. I walked inside and thanked her as she left.

It was a completely white room, a few flowers on the tables around the room. I turned the corner seeing Aria.

Aria was pale and emotionless, her lips were tinted a purpleish blue, a breathing mask covered her nose and face.

"Aria?" I whispered choked back on tears, why... why didn't I just call..

I walked over to the chair that was pulled up by the bed. I grabbed her hand with the least wires. It still had two and that weird finger thing, but the other had six wires and a splint.

"Aria.." I whispered, "I'm so sorry.. I'm so so sorry" I choked back on tears.

I looked around again, nothing was the same. Her hand cold in mine. I put my hand on the left side of her face, opposite of me. Her cheek cold to the touch also.

"Aria please" I whispered, "I love you.."

I starred at her, longing for her to say 'I love you too' like every cliché movie and book. However it didn't happen..

This is no romanic comedy. This is life. I sat here here and longing for mine to become something different, while Aria's is on the line.
