Author's Note: I apologise for this one taking so long! Exams have been stressing me out, but I have the time to write some more now :) I hope you enjoy!
Zander rocks back and forth on his heels as he waits patiently for those in front of him in line to choose their lunch items. Zander never eats the school lunches, mainly because he just thinks they're gross. Occasionally there's good food, but not very often, and Zander isn't patient enough to wait in a line all break. However, he usually gets dragged into the line by Luke anyway, who always eats the school lunches, and begs him to come with him so he isn't lonely when he waits. Just like he used to as a child, and just like right now.
Zander is very quickly getting bored. Luke hasn't said much, but he does keep sneaking sideways glances at Zander, who just rolls his eyes. When the two finally arrive at the front of the line, Zander steps back as Luke talks to the canteen workers and picks his lunch. When Luke turns around, Zander's eyes immediately fall onto the blueberry muffin. It's very strange that Luke asked for this, especially since he doesn't like blueberries. But then Zander meets Luke's gaze and watches him smile as he picks up the muffin and hands it to Zander. "I know you forgot to pack lunch today," he says, "So I got a muffin for you!" Zander reaches out and takes the muffin, smiling back. "Thank you, Luke."
The two make their way back to their table, where the rest of the music club smirks at them as they sit down. Milly pipes up, teasing them. "AWWWW, TWO LITTLE LOVEBIRDS SHARING FOOD! HOW ADORABLE!" Zander blushes a deep shade of red.
"MILLY, SHUT UP, THE WHOLE SCHOOL WILL HEAR YOU! BESIDES, YOU AND ELLIOT FLIRT ALL THE TIME!" Now Milly is the one turning red, reaching across the table to punch Zander on the arm. Sean and Hailey hold her back, and Luke laughs and turns to hold Zander back too.
Author's Note: I know this one is also really short, and I'm sorry I didn't have the time to write a longer one. However, I hope you enjoyed nonetheless, and I hope you are ready for the next one, where I think Zander will give some random acts of kindness towards Luke :) Remember, feel free to suggest any story ideas you may have, as I would love some ideas!
