LOVE UNTOLD an Arrange Marriage [ Hyunjin x reader ]

Chapter 13

you and Hyunjin are readying to have an arrange dinner with your family at your palace, it's been a while since you visited your family as well. You're perfectly set with your hair loose and wearing a pastel purple dress and wearing a boots. 

"make sure to wear your ring" his assistant reminded both of you, she's also inside your room and just observing what both of you are doing. 

You glance at Hyunjin's direction because you notice that he said something to her that make her laugh a bit, your eyes narrowed to the both of them. You open your drawer and put on your ring, Hyunjin also did the same.

The three of you got out in the room and now heading to the car, people greeted both of you along the way. They open the door for the both of you, and you notice that the assistant of Hyunjin isn't hopping inside the car, and you left her alone. 

you're now alone with Hyunjin, no one is talking but it's fine for you cause you don't feel any awkwardness between the both of you. You just couldn't sit tight because Hyunjin's been busy with his phoone. 

"how are you?" trying to break the silence 

"fine" he responded still attentively reading something in his phone

"are you nervous?"-y/n

"no, why would I?"-Hyunjin

"since it's your first time again to meet my family without yours" you said to him, but you didn't get any response from him after that.

"Welcome back princess y/n!" your personal maids greeted you as soon you got out from the car, you made your way to them and hug them one by one. 

"I'm so glad to see your faces!" you giggle with them

"Welcome prince Hyunjin to Cheon palace" they said all together, he just nodded at them with a smile

"this way your highness" one of the butler assisted the both of you in the dining hall, and once he open the giant glass door the long table is waiting for you. 

Both of you seated beside each other.

"my little princess is here" you look to that person and your eyes widen when you saw your cousin walking towards the table

"Taemin oppa!" you quickly got up to your chair and hug him tightly 

"you've grown already! how's your life?" he ask you making his way to the chair and you also went back to your chair

"it's gr-great! by  the way, this is prince Hyunjin m-my hu-husband! I guess you already knew that..uhm and Hyunjin! this is prince Taemin one of my cousin who's now living here in the palace" you introduce them to one another

"Nice to meet you Taemin"-Hyunjin

"likewise Hyunjin"-Taemin

after few more minutes your parents arrived, all of the people inside the room including you stand up and bow your head as a sign of respect. 

Taemin and your parents are the one who's joining the dinner, the appetizer arrived first and the dinner begins.

"Hyunjin how are you with our princess?" the king ask while eating

"it's been great and an honor to be with your daughter" he responded, you just continue listening.

"We guess that both of you already created more memories together?" the queen included trying to hide her excitement to ask everything about your marriage

"we surely did, and I'm happy that we're becoming more closer than before" you responded without a lie. 

"a curious question here, what did you like or love in our princess?" you gulp when Taemin ask that question, and you shift your look to Hyunjin who's still calm and compose while eating
