Y/n's pov:

I don't know what's the event today but it seems like almost every royalties in the palace are invited to a big celebration. We're heading in another palace, and I'm currently with Hyunjin right now as we're both wearing a formal attire.

I notice that he changed the color of his hair from blonde to pure black but it's still long, to be honest it really looks good to him even more, his white skin is literally beaming because of it I can't even look anywhere else besides his current look right now

If you notice I'm becoming more confident towards him maybe because of the effect of divorce if you know what I mean.

*at the other palace

The guards open up the car door for us but before I head out I made sure that I'm well presented and finally read the envelope that's sitting in my bag

oh..what an honor, it's Kim's birthday celebration right before the Christmas.

I put it inside my bag again and ready to head out, when my heels landed on the ground I saw Hyunjin literally holding the door for me

"that's a first" I said to him tapping his shoulder and he didn't say anything, maybe he's showing an act right now so their relationship will not be known by others I just need to ride their play.

Hyunjin is now opening his arms to me and I have no choice but to wrap my hands around it and we both walk up the stairs

The whole palace both inside and outside is being covered with a lot of lights since it's already 9pm

"We're honored and we're pleased to your presence prince Hyunjin and princess y/n" the attendants bowed their head to us and we just greeted them with a smile and they assisted us to the main hall

once we reach where the event will be taken Hyunjin seems like a gentleman today because he pull the chair for me so I can sit comfortably then sit beside me

Looking around, surely there are many guests right now, I saw many familiar faces as well. The decorations and designs are also on point like you can really tell that this is the birthday of a royalty.

If I can I would want not to attend this, maybe it's also my fault since I didn't take time to read that envelope but ofcourse I still don't have any choice.

"are you okay?" I look at Hyunjin when he ask that

"ofcourse" I simply respond to him, I wonder where the others are--

"look who's here" someone spin around in front of me

"Krystal!" I stand up then we both share a hug

"hey Hyunjin! btw that's not really good! we're not all in one table!" she waved at Hyunjin then pointed the tables the others are in, we're literally separated in each table pair by pair.

"that's fine! you look good"-y/n

"never been ugly in my entire life,you know that!"-Krystal

"are you guys alright there?"-y/n

"yea..it's just suck that we're not together, but anyway enjoy your date with your husband" she whisper to my ear then said her goodbyes to the both of us

it's been a while since I heard that term 'husband huh?'

I look at Hyunjin then take my sit again, we're just silent as the room is being filled with other guests and suddenly all the lights went off then just leave with a one spotlight.
