"Are you sure you'll be okay?"

"Mom. I talked to Dr Dunwoody yesterday. I'm fine. I promise." I said packing up my lunchbox.

I feel guilty for lying to mom but it won't hurt her. She found me the best therapist money can buy so I could heal from the incident.

"Where's Romano?"

"I'm here! Sorry I'm late sis." He gave me a hug. Being the only child sucks sometimes. Romano is like the big brother I've ever had. What I like about my cousins is that we treat each other like we're siblings from the same parents, I love it.

"You ready?"

"Yep. See you later mom!"

"Bye sweetie." I grabbed my bag and walked towards Romano's car. For a rich kid, Roman was very down to earth. His father, uncle Jonny made sure I get everything I need or want.

He treats Roman and I like twins.

"So how are you? And please be honest." I rolled my eyes at him. He means well but will they just calm down!?

"I'm fine. Sort of." I heard him taking a deep breath. This can't be good.

"Kylie. I swear I didn't know there were wolves there. I thought it was just a myth. I'm really sorry sis." He said his eyes still focusing on the road.

"It's fine really. I mean we finally ticked off something in our bucket list." I laughed.

"What?"

"To be myth busters. I mean we found out that The Big Bad is real." I laughed again but Roman didn't laugh.

"Too soon?"
"Yep." He said with humor in his tone.

It was still early for school so we headed to our favorite cafe to get our breakfast. We pass here everyday to have our breakfast. It was seven o'clock and there was already the smell of fresh coffee.

There were few people on the road meaning that there was no line.

We got outside and went into the cafe.
"Morning."
"Good morning miss Edwards." I said giving her a genuine smile.

"The usual?" She asked and Romano and I nodded. Miss Edwards is an old lady. I'm guessing she has seventy years old but you never know.

"Here you go."
"Thank you Miss Edwards." Romano said paying for our breakfast. We had some toasted cheese sandwich with scrambled eggs and coffee on the side.

Our parents have tried to make us quit eating at this cafe. They said what we eat in this cafe can also be prepared at home. That didn't stop Roman and I from eating here.

We placed our breakfast to eat it later when we arrive at school.

"Man I'm hungry." Roman said grabbing his toasted cheese sandwich.

"You can't drive while you eat!"

"Look when I'm..." There was a sudden movement and it nearly sent us flying into the windscreen.

"What was that?"
"I think I ran over something." Romano said and I quickly checked what we ran over.

"I can't see anything."
"Well, it's still dark. Let's go check it out."

We went outside the car. We checked every side of the car.

"Uhh.. Kylie?"
"What found something?" I went to Roman's side and I nearly fainted.

"You have got to be kidding me." I whispered.

"Should we take it to the hospital?"

"No. Let's leave it here. I'm sure it'll survive and be okay." What am I saying? The poor creature may bleed to death.

"Kylie! This wolf is badly hurt."

"Look at the size of that thing! What if it's the wolf that chased us?" I screamed.
I'm not taking any chances. I want to live and being this close to danger is not so pleasing.

"Look, we'll put it at the back of the van okay? That way it won't hurt us."

"Fine! But if it hurts me I'm gonna kill you!" I pointed at him accusingly. I decided to push my fear of wolves aside and help this wolf.

Hopefully it won't eat us. Roman and I lifted the heavy wolf. It whimpered and I discovered that it's leg was dislocated.

"I can't do this." I stepped away to look at the big wolf.

"Kylie please."

I heard the wolf whimper once again and I nodded feeling drained.

We managed to lift the wolf and placed it at the back of the van. I covered it with my mini blanket that I kept in Roman's car in case of cold weather.

We were heading to the vet.

We got inside to tell them what's going on and they placed the wolf on the stretcher.

Without further Ado we got inside the car and drove to school.

"That was crazy." I sighed.

"Man. I don't think I've ever seen a wolf that big! Apart from the one Last night!"

I'm already tired and the day have just begun.

Man. I hate wolves.
