We finally arrived at school and we separated to go to our respective classes.I went to my locker to get some books. I can't believe there are wolves in this town. Where do they even come from?
I opened my locker to get my books. My first class was biology. Oh great.
I got in class and immediately sat down besides the window. I love the fresh air.
"Good morning class. Today we're going to be learning about animal behavior." Miss Brown said clicking on the screen to show is today's content.
"Today's topic is really interesting. Let's get to it shall we?"
Suddenly the door opened. All of our attention went to the door. It was Andrew. Man he's handsome.
Some girls batted their eyes at him seductively while some boys glared at him. I just adored his beauty.
He went at the back of the class and sat down. I'm sure he's used to all the attention. He doesn't even look at them.
"Okay moving on. We're going to observe the difference in behavior between household dogs and wild dogs."
"Wild dogs as in..." I asked raising my hand. I was known as the teacher's pet but I didn't mind. My grades are really good and I'm not planning to drop the ball anytime soon.
"Hyenas, jackals and of course wolves." Miss Brown answered. I made an 'O' shape with my mouth. This would be interesting.
"Okay so first let us start with the wild dogs. Some tend to be aggressive, for example wolves. They are..."
"Wolves aren't aggressive. They are just misunderstood." I didn't have to look to see who said that. I knew that voice really well.
"Why do you say that Andrew?"
"Wolves are aggressive when provoked." I let out a scoff.
"This is just stupid." I whispered tapping my pen against the desk.
"Do you have anything to say Kylie?" Ms Brown asked.
"Ms Brown, I believe that wolves belong in the wild. They're savages." I said calmly.
"You don't know anything about wolves. I suggest you shut up." Did he just... Oh hell nah..
"And if I don't. What are you gonna do about it?" I asked with arrogance. The whole class including Miss Brown where watching and listening to Andrew and I fight with words.
"I'm gonna make you regret it." His eyes were darker but because I was mad, I didn't care.
"Oh. I'm so scared." I said sarcastically laughing. The whole class gasped. No one could talk or challenge Andrew like that. But I had enough of it.
"You're so stupid." Excuse me?
"Those wolves you're defending took my father from me! So don't tell me to shut up! Calling me stupid!? You're the stupid one. Dumbhead."
"Okay that's enough! Kylie sit down." Miss Brown said switching off the screen.
"Ughh!!" I took my bag and walked out of class.
I'm not the kind of person to lose my temper like that. I went to the school library. I went to the furthest table away from people's sight. I took out my biology book.
Might as well study the topic alone since I walked out of it.
Dad's photo slipped out of my bag.
"I miss you." I kissed his photo and placed it back inside my bag. I concentrated on studying."Hey." I looked up from my book to see Andrew leaning on the table with his hands.
I ignored him and continued to read my book.
"Look. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to call you stupid." He said sitting down next to me. My skin tingled with sparks. I shifted a few inches away from him.
"I'm also sorry about your dad. I didn't know."
"Can you please leave me alone. I'm trying to read." I shifted my again away from him still holding my book.
"Here." He handed me some papers.
"Today's notes. I'm really sorry Kylie." I hesitated to take the notes but I can't understand this topic so I need those notes.
I snatched the notes from him.
"Just so you know. I hate wolves." His eyes widened at what I've said. He scratched the back of his neck nervously.
"Oh. That might be a problem." He laughed still awkward.
"Why?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Because I'm a werewolf. And you're my mate."
