I'm Coming

Chapter 2

<Lyla> POV

Beep Beep Beep-

I grab my phone as fast as possible and check the time 3:50 a.m. Friday June 19th. Im so excited about tomorrow. I need to go by the store and buy a suitcase. Ive already bought a few of my train tickets and my VIP pass for FanRave! Oh jeez. I turn on music and rush to my closet to grab a pair of black sneakers, a blue tank top, and a pair of skinny jeans. I go to the bathroom, change, do my makeup then head downstairs.

BANG CRASH BOOM SNAP

I hear a loud crash come from the living room. I run down and see a man in my living room. I run to the kitchen and grab the shotgun on top of the fridge. I think he saw me because he followed me. I see he has a gun. I see my mom and brother moving down the stairs and him turn towards them.

"Don't move or ill shoot" I say. "Mom take Eli up stairs and stay up there"

"Stay still" I lean to grab the phone and he takes off up the stairs.

I run as fast as possible faster then ever before and once im right behind him.

BANG

<Mellissa (Mom)> POV

"Mommy is sissy okay" Eli said to me.

"Stay here" I walk out to the hallway afraid of seeing my daughter dead on the floor.

I see a man on the floor holding his leg.

"I shot him in the leg call 911 I have his gun too" Lyla said.

<Lyla> POV

My mom went downstairs to call 911. A few minutes later I hear a few manly voices and I know its the cops so I put the gun down.

"Put your hands behind your back!" They yell at the man then pull him up and lead him downstairs. I go and get Eli.

"Sissy" He said to me.

I pick him up and take him downstairs.

"Here mom ill go talk to the police officers" I said.

Im done talking to them. I look at my phone and its almost 5. Im late!

"Mom I have to go I love you guys bye!" I yell.

When Im outside I find my bike and start to peddle off towards the pet shop. Wow that was nerv racking. I didn't even get to eat breakfast haha.

I pull up to the pet shop a few minutes later and hop out. I run to the door unlock it then go in and do as much as possible.

I had only fed the animals and swept by the time Casey got here.

"Hello how was your morning" She said.

I looked up "you would never believe me" I said.

"What did you wake up late" She said with sarcasm.

I sat on a hay block in front of the counter and explained everything.

"Oh my Jesus Im sorry" She gave me a hug.

"Its okay. I got as much done as possible Im sorry" I said.

"You know what here you need this" she handed me 50 dollars.

"No I cant take this I didn't do anything" I tried to hand it back.

"I know you have to go to the store Lyla use some there" She said pushing me and my coat out the door.

"Thank you so much Casey Ill miss you" I said hugging her.

"Bye Lyla kisses" She said blowing me a kiss.
