Cassandra awoke rather early the next morning. Deciding she would go and brush her hair to start getting ready for the day, she tried to move out of bed, only to feel a heavy weight on her. She looked down slightly and couldn't help but giggle at the sight.

Varian had his arms wrapped tightly around her waist as he nuzzled his head into her stomach with Ruddiger sat on top of him, curled up in a ball.

"Var...? Varian? Hun, I gotta get up." She chuckled, gently ruffling his hair.

Varian groaned as he cuddled closer. "Mmnoooooo. Stay in bed, m'lady. I don't wanna get up yet." He mumbled, making Cassandra laugh.

"You don't need to get up Var, but I want to get up and get the day started." She replied, playing with the small ponytail at the nape of his neck.

"Noooooo, I don't want you to get up yet either." He replied, looking up at her with a tired, playful pout, making Cassandra chuckle.

"Fine, I'll cuddle for another few minutes. But then I'm getting up. Okay?" She said, ruffling his hair.

"Alright." Varian smiled, cuddling even closer as he closed his eyes again.

"You're such a big baby. Y'know that?" She giggled.

"Am not. I just like my sleep." He replied in a mumble, making Cassandra laugh again.

"Sure babe, whatever you say." She replied, enjoying her morning cuddles with her fiancé. A few minutes turned into an hour of snuggling, the two needing to get out of bed now if they didn't want to be late to breakfast.

"Alright Var, it's time to get up now. Otherwise Raps is gonna be banging on the door for us to hurry up." She smiled, brushing her fingers through his hair.

"Fineeee." Varian replied in a grumble, rolling off Cassandra and getting up.

"Don't be so grumbly, we get to begin planning our wedding today." She smiled, getting up and walking over to him, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind, resting her head on his shoulder.

Varian smiled and turned his head to press a kiss against the girls head. "True. The faster we plan, the faster we can get married. Have our happily ever after." He replied.

"Mhm. A happily ever after that we deserve." She smiled, letting go of him to brush her hair and tie it up in a pony tail before grabbing the comfiest clothes she had, just deciding today was a good day to relax while they planned their wedding. "Hey... Varian? If I said I wanted to start trying for kids the night we're married, what would you say?" She asked, the thought being on her mind since they talked about it the previous day.

Varian walked over and took hold of her hands in his own. "I would say let's do it. I already told you Cassie, I'm ready whenever you're ready." He smiled, making her smile, a gesture that always made him fall even deeper in love with her every time.

"How in the world did I ever get so lucky to have you in my life?" She asked.

"I ask myself the same question ever single day." Varian replied, making her smile even wider before pressing a loving kiss against his lips.

"I love you so much. Now go get ready before Rapunzel comes and hunts us down." She laughed, making Varian chuckle and nod.

"Okay, okay, I'm going." He smiled, walking to the dresser and grabbing some clothes, quickly changing.

Just as they were about to leave, a knock at the door sounded. "WAKEY WAKEY UNCLE VAR AND AUNT CASS!!! MOM AND DAD WANT US ALL DOWNSTAIRS IN FIVE MINUTES!" A loud voice called, the two laughing at Hayley.

Cassandra opened the door and smiled. "We aren't deaf Hayls, a simple knock and an inside voice would have been fine." She laughed, making Hayley laugh too.

"Sorry, dad told me to yell incase you two were... 'cannoodling'. I don't know what that is, but dad said you guys might be talking too loud to hear me." She said innocently, making Varian choke on air with laughter.

Meanwhile Cassandra stood staring wide eyed at the small girl. "Your father is so dead." She sighed. "C'mon, we have a breakfast to get too." She then added, putting on a smile so to not make Hayley suspicious.

"Okay!" The young girl chirped happily, skipping off down the hallway.

Varian was still trying to hold in his laughter as they walked. "You're not helping the situation babe." She sighed, though couldn't help but let out a small giggle of her own.

"I'm sorry, it's just... I can't believe Eugene would actually tell her to shout because of rhat." He laughed.

"I can. Eugene is the biggest idiot you will ever meet. Even Shorty is smarter than he is." She giggled.

"Touché m'lady. Touché." He chuckled as they walked into the dining room.

Cassandra shot dagger eyes at Eugene who was laughing at her reaction. "You're an idiot. I hope you know that." She told him, making him nod.

"Oh trust me. I know that already." He chuckled.

"You're lucky I'm more interested in getting my wedding planned than murdering you. Do not destroy my nieces innocent mind just yet. Shes still a baby." She replied.

"Alright, alright, fine, I won't. I wasn't going to anyway. Shes my own daughter for crying out loud." He laughed.

Cassandra just sighed and rolled her eyes. "How Rapunzel constantly puts up with you is beneath me." She replied, sitting down and beginning to eat.

"Right, enough bickering you two. We have a wedding to plan." Rapunzel squealed excitedly.

"Yep. A lot to plan, and we want it done as soon as possible so we can plan a date." Cassandra smiled.

"Okay, so, Cass. I was thinking, how about me and you sort out the stuff for you and Eugene helps Varian? Don't worry, I'll make sure he's on his best behaviour and doesn't suggest anything ridiculous to your husband to be." She smiled with a giggle.

Eugene sat with a fake offended expression. "Sunshine, you wound me. I would never." He replied, only for everyone to give him an unconvinced look. "Okay, yeah, I would. But I won't. I promise. I know this is a big day for you two, and everything will go perfectly. I swear." He added.

Cassandra smiled as she looked at Eugene. "Good. And if everything doesn't go perfectly I have an excuse to murder you." She said, making Rapunzel playfully roll her eyes and Eugene chuckle nervously.

"No one is going to be murdered because this wedding is going to be perfect in every way possible." Rapunzel said with a smile.

"Alright, let's get to planning then. I'll see you at dinner Cassie." Varian said with a smile as he pressed a light, loving kiss to his fiancé's lips, the raven haired woman returning it wholeheartedly.

"Yeah, see you at dinner, Var." She smiled before being dragged away by Rapunzel.

"Okay, first up? Dress fitting." The short brunette haired woman squealed once they reached her room, clearly full of excitement on helping her best friend plan her big day.

Cassandra winced slightly at the sound of 'dress'. "I was thinking... maybe something different? I know dresses are traditional, but Raps, you know I'm not the dressy kind of girl. I only wore my maidens dress because I had to." She explained.

"Waaaaaaaaay ahead of you Cass." Rapunzel grinned as she opened a closet.

"Raps... it's perfect!" Cassandra said with a wide smile, tears gathering in the corners of her eyes as she looked at her outfit...
