Chapter 4

"We should probably go back to others." Ash said after a while
"We have to?" Sodo sighted "It's so nice here all alone..."
"I know love, but it's bit rude, don't you think?" She asked calmly
"They don't care." Per said and buried his face in her hair
"I think they do. You would."
"You're sure? Because last time I've checked, they were rather glad when I wasn't around."
"And when it was that last time? Must've been long ago. Besides, everyone knows that you're quite a softie deep inside."
"No, I'm not!" Sodo didn't want to be seen as a softie. He did a lot to not be seen like one.
"Ok, fine, you're not. Let's go." Ash laughed. She got up and pulled him up right after. He stood up and went with her to the common area but he stayed quite silent for most of the time. Finally Ashley asked him
"Are you all right? You're not talking much."
"I'm fine. I'm going to lay for a bit. Stay with them if you want." He said and walked out
"What's with him?" Swiss asked
"Probably nothing. He's tired." Ash said but she had concern in her eyes. She felt that he's not fine. He sounded different, bitter. 'Maybe he needs to be alone for now.' She thought. Ashley stayed with them for some time. Meanwhile Sodo got back into sleeping area and layed on the bunk. He was thinking about what she said. That everyone knows that he's softie. It's because of her. It was all so good before. No one was interfering into his life, he was left alone and it was good. It would be great go back to that. She has got under his skin, it's time to change that. That's when all these problems started. He loved her, of course. But it seems that everyone else started to take advantage of it. With that thought he fell asleep. When Ashley got back some time later, he was deep in his sleep so she just snook in and tried to sleep aswell. When she woke up next morning, he wasn't there. That was strange. He was always there. She went to look for him. Found him in the common area playing xbox.
"You weren't by my side when I woke up..." she said quietly
"I didn't know I must be." He said without looking at her. He was still focused on the screen. Ashley was like turned into stone. He never was like that towards her. She was standing there, didn't know what to do with herself. Finally she turned and got back into the back of the bus. She took clothes for the day and went to fresh up. When she walked out, in the common area suddenly became quiet.
"Are you all right?" Rain asked
"Of course I am. Perfectly fine." He said throwing away the pad and walked out
"My ass." Rain whispered. Sodo left all of them speachless. Guardians of their relationship looked at each other with understanding. Bus was about to arrive into another hotel. They got out and stretched. Per helped Ash unload her siutcaces and went to greet the fans. All without single word to anyone. She was completly lost. Like all of them. It was obvious that something was going on through his head, but no one dared to ask. Including Ash. She sighed and sat on one of the suitcases with her head down, wondering what she did to deserve being treated like that. She was looking at him, how he's smiling to the fans, posing for pics. When he came back, he didn't even looked at her. Not to mention to hug her or kiss. He took thier lugagge and got in. They checked in and went with hotel boy into their room.
"Go get shower first." That was all what he said when they left alone.
"What's wrong with you? You didn't say a word to me since morning!" She couldn't hold back any longer.
"Nothing." It was all he said and turned his back. Ashley didn't understand a thing. Why such a change suddenly. She thought that maybe it's because of this journalist, but still...reaction was to extreme even for him. She took her clothes and went to the bathroom. He looked at her back. She was scared. That's not what he wanted to achieve. He should probably talk with her, but he didn't know what exactly he should say? He took it a bit too far. Per sat on the bed and started to think. He have to find some balance but how? Ashley got out from the bathroom.
"Ashley, we need to..." He tried to talk to her but she just looked at him and left the room. 'I'm fucked.' he thought. 'I fucked like I always do...' He took his things and went to shower. Meanwhile Ash went down to the restaurant. She needed coffee. And to think. Alone. Did she say something? She can't let him treat her like this, but it must have some reason. At least for him to behave like that. Maybe she said something? But what? Either way, he can't go on like this. Sodo got out from the shower and with towel around his waist he sat on the bed and tried to think of something. She was pissed. She didn't even want to talk with him. Sodo dressed up and went to look for her. 'She's probably in the restaurant, having coffee.' and with that thought he was about to go there. He was almost there, when some girl approached him and asked for autograph and pic. Sodo didn't want to be rude to the fan, so he agreed. But the girl wanted something more. She was holding him tight and close to the pic and while talking to him, she was touching him way too often. She was flirting with him. At first he was polite and smiling, but at some point it became irritaiting and he said his goodbye quite harshly. Well, too bad that so late, because Ashley was walking out from the restaurant and saw most of this flirt thing. And she was hurt. Hurt as Hell. She left using side doors and got out of the hotel. And didn't really know where she was going. Just far away from there. Meanwhile Sodo was looking for her in the restaurant and even asked waiter did he see her. He said that she was here, but left about five minutes ago. He had very bad feeling so he tried to call her. 'Come on Ash, pick up, pick up, pick up.' But instead she declined his call. He tried again and she declined again. His panick was raising with every second. He called Swiss
"Hi, I'm looking for Ash, is she with you?"
"No, why? What happened?" Jutty asked concerned
"Nothing. Bye." Sodo hang up. 'Maybe she's back in the room.' He rushed back but she wasn't there either. He looked at his phone, he wanted to call her again. He noticed unread notification. He got text from her. Sodo open up app and he turned stone. 'Leave me alone.' Per sat on the bed and it came up to him, what he did. 'I have to bring her back.' he thought. He wrote back to her 'Ash, love, please. Where are u? Come back, please?' He was panicking as fuck. There was knocking on the door. Sodo ran to open them up. He saw Swiss, Rain and Phantom
"What do you want?" He asked
"Help?" Phantom said "What's going on?" He said walking into the room without even invitation. Rest of them followed
"You're unbelieveable." Per said closing the door
"Talk to us." Rain said
"There's not much to talk and I would be glad if you won't poke your noses into this."
"Too late. What's up?" Swiss said. Sodo sighted
"We had...no, not a fight. Quiet moments and I may be bit rude, or cold. I don't know."
"You don't say..." They all said. Sodo looked at them with his death stare
"Fine. And..?" Phantom asked
"She left and said to leave her alone. I don't know where she is, is she safe. Nothing."
"You really are stupid. We've seen how you were treated her last day." Swiss said. "You owe me." He added and took put his phone. He called Ashley.
"Hey goregous. I'm about to grab some coffee in a very pleasent coffee shop, want to join me?" He said when she picked up. "Uh-uh, yeah...meet me by the fountain in 15." He hung up. "You'll thank me later." Sodo rushed to the door, but Swiss stopped him. "No, you're not going. I am. You stay here and wait. Don't you dare leave the room. You two, watch him." He said to Rain and Phantom and left to meet her and once again save their relationship.
