Chapter 10

Ashley and Sodo were still in bed, talking.
"What should we do about the journalist?" Sodo asked
"Honestly, I have no idea. We even don't know what he wants."
"We have to do something bacause, I swear, I'm loosing my patience."
"You're a Fire Ghoul, it's not hard to make you do that." She laughed
"You little..." And he started tickle her
"Come..on...I didn't say...anything that's...not true." Ash said while laughing hard. He stopped tickling her
"Yeah, you're probably right. So what should we do?"
"Well, maybe we should try to confront him?" She said when she stopped laughing.
"Interesting. How?"
"Well, I can bet he'll try to approach again. Maybe we should offer a meeting."
"And then what? It's probably what he wants."
"Exactly. We can offer him what he wants, but on our terms."
"I'm not sure it's a good idea. He'll twist everything we'll say as he'll want." Sodo said "Maybe we just should ignore him." He looked at Ashley who was looking at him surprised. "Look. He's like any other journalist but maybe just more nosy."
"You might be right..." What Sodo didn't say is that he's concerned how the fuck he knew Ashley's name. Full name. Or rather from whom he knew that.
"Now, we should talk about the wedding. Tour is coming to an end and there's still a lot to plan." Sodo said
"How you imagine it?" Ash asked
"Och, you know...it will be rather unconventional. As you know...we're both Satanists. I like your idea of mixing black and white, other than that, whatever you want my love." Sodo said kissing her forehead. "I just want to make you my wife in the eyes of Satan and society."
"Sooo...we'll need someone from the Church to wed us." Ash said
"Yeah...and the rings. And outfits. And someone who will prepare a party. I'm going to party hard. Believe me."
"We also need a date to set it all." Ash said "How about 30th of April?"
"So magnificent date. You're thinking about everything." He said hugging her "Such a meaningful night."
"Ok, so I can start preparations." Ashley smiled widely "And we can finally tell the others that we set a date?"
"Yes, darling, we can." Sodo said laughing. He was so happy. Finally something has moved in that matter. He was bit afraid of that postponing, but whenever Ash mentioned anything about their wedding, he was more sure that it will happen some day. And now they agreed to a date. "We can make it official, you know?"
"What do you mean by that?"
"We can reveal the date to the public so there will be no surprise and maybe they will leave us alone if we'll do it. I mean, our most dedicated journalist won't be bothering us if we'll make it official." Sodo thought ahead
"I don't know...We both don't like to share our private lives..."
"Yes, but if we'll do it, there will be no element of surprise and guys like our journalists, won't be a bother."
"We should talk about it with Tobias, but if you say so...I'm all in." Ashley said diving into Sodo's loving arms.
Few hours later they were heading to the venue.
"So, are we gonna talk to Tobias now or after the gig?" Sodo asked
"You really wanna do this?" She asked uncertain that it's a good idea with that revealing thing
"You don't want to do that?"
"I'm just not sure it will work the way you want it to work." Ash was thinking "Well, we can ask Copia and hear what he's thinking about it. It won't hurt."
"Ok, so let's go find him." They got in quickly without stopping outside. Sodo just waved to the fans. Copia had a rehersal but when he saw them he took a break
"What's up? If both here, means that something happened." He asked
"Not exactly happened. Or maybe happened. We wanted to ask you something." Ash said
"Ok, I'm listening." He said with curiosity
"We've got an idea and want your opinion. We have been talking what to do with that journalist and I think that maybe we should officially announce our wedding date before he or others will be able to find out and eliminate element of surprise. And we want to know what you think about it?" Sodo asked. Copia looked at them like he didn't understand at first
"Wait. You want to go public with a date of your wedding?" He asked and shook his head. "Wait a minute! You've settled the date?" It came to him finally
"Yes, we did." Ashley said smiling and hugging Sodo "We did it earlier today, so don't be angry that we didn't tell you. You're actually first person who we told about it."
"For once first not last." Copia laughed "Ok, so when that happy day will be?"
"30th of April." Sodo said "We'll do it in my house in Barcelona."
"What a date!" He smiled widely "Excellent!"
"So what about going official?" Per asked
"It depends. How you both feel about it. You have to consider will it really solve the problem or make it worse. They might expect that you will share other informations too and they might be even more nosy. But it also may work as you think. I'm sorry, I can't give you any other answer."
"You're right. Thanks man." Sodo said and they left.
"So...what do you think?"
"Well, if my idea isn't an option, what do we have to loose?" Ashley said
"Fine. We'll do it after the show. But you'll have to go with me this time."
"Sweet Satan, do I have to? I'll faint in front of everyone or have a panic attack."
"It will be fine. I'll be right next to you."
"I'll try, ok?"
"Ok, love. This one time, please try." Sodo said kissing her forehead. They went find dressing room and than Sodo went to do sound check up. Ashley went to take a stroll and check her things. She wasn't sure it's a good idea, but decision has been made. She got back right on time to walk Sodo backstage and wish him luck. This Ritual went awfully quick and they were back in the dressing room.
"Are you ready?" Sodo asked
"No. But we have to do this, right?"
"No, we don't have to. But I think we should."
"Ok, let's go get over with it." She said. With that they left and when they were outside Sodo pulled her into spot where press was waiting
"Hello guys." Sodo said to shocked journalists who didn't expect that Ashley will come with him. It's the first time. "Ashley and I have an annaucement to make." He looked at terrified Ash glued into his arm. He wrapped his arm around her waist, it has always calmed her. "As you know, that beautiful, smart and gently woman agreed to marry me some time ago." He paused "We wanted to tell you that we have settled the date. It will happen 30th of April. Very meaningful date. That's all, thank you guys."
