Chapter 9

Ashley walked out quickly while Sodo left there still thinking that none of them thought about it. Ash was teriffied. 'Damn, I have to check it out quickly. But how should I do it when we're in the middle of a tour?' She sat in the common area and was thinking how to fix this situation. Finally she decided that it will be best if she'll go back home for few days and make an appointment with her doc. But she'll need an excuse to do that and Sodo can't suspect anything. She went to talk to Copia. Said that she will need few days off because she must meet with her landlord about her apartment and she'll prepare everything ahead.
"You're going alone?" Copia asked
"Yeah, why?"
"I don't know? You're doing everything together. Are you two alright?" He asked. Remembering that he was guessing that there was some kind of drama recently
"We're absolutley fine. I just need to take care of it."
"Ok, fine. Just tell me when you'll be away and for how long." She nodded and thought that easier part is done. Now she has to tell Per and make him as calm as it's possible. And convince him that everything's fine and there's no need to worry. She got back into sleeping area where Per was layingin their bunk.
"Per, love. I will have to go home for few days. I have to meet with my landlord."
"What? Why? What's going on?" He asked
"Nothing, everything's fine. I believe it's about prolonging contract. I'll deal with it as fast as I can I'll join you."
"Really? It's really what it's about?" Sodo asked as he didn't believe it after that talk eariler
"Yes, it is." Ash said and kissed him. "I'll be back as soon as I can."
"I don't like this. But fine. If you must. I can't go with you so promise me you'll keep in touch and call me if anything happen. And I mean anything."
"Ok, I promise." And she left. Sodo stayed and thought that she really must have think of him like he's dense. Timing isn't coincidance. He throwed his phone on the wall. They didn't talk much for the rest of the day. Both of them thought what will happen if she's pregnant. Sodo never thought about being a father. This scenario suddenly seemed to be more real than ever. And he couldn't decide how he'd feel about it. And what about Ashley? She never said a word about that matter. She was leaving next day. When they were saying their goodbyes at the airport, he said right before she was about to pass the gate
"Let me know what doc said." And he left. Ash stood there turned to stone. 'Fuck! He knows. Of course he knows. He's not stupid. Damn. I'm fucked.'
She met her doctor and did full check up and was on her way back with perscription in her pocet. She didn't tell Sodo anything specific only that she's fine and on her way. He was anxious as fuck. Even tried to get something from her but she said that she's ok and on her way. What does it even mean? Sodo was smoking cigarette after cigarette when he was waiting for her at the airport. He still didn't figure out how he would feel about being a parent. From his thoughts dragged him Ashleys' voice
"Hi, love."
"Och, Ash, finally. For love of Lucifer, good you're here. Missed you." He said kissing her and hugging tight. Per took her luggage and they left.
"Sooo...how was it?" He finally asked. He was afraid what she'll say. It is big thing and he understood it very well.
"Love, everything's fine. I did full check up and there's nothing to worry about."
"So you're not pregnant?"
"No I'm not. There's no tiny human inside. You can relax." Ash said and looked at him. He did breath out. She was glad that she's not pregnant. But she thought that maybe some day she would like to be a mom. Sodo looked so relieved. She pushed that thought away and enjoyed that they're together again. Sodo lead her into their room watching her closely. Ashley was unpacking when he approached and said
"Ash, I want to talk with you." She frozed.
"O...ok, what's going on?"
"Damn, Ash, relax...It's nothing bad." He looked at her and took something from the table "I just wanted give you something. It's nothing much, but I believe you will like it." She looked up at him surprised. "Give me your hand." Sodo took her hand and locked a bracelate on her wirst.
"Is this a string?" She asked
"Yes, it is. It's bass string from my guitar." He wasn't sure it's a good idea anymore
"It's so beautiful! What a great idea. I love it! Thank you!" She hugged and kissed him happily
"Och you like it?" He asked when they broke the kiss
"Of course I do! Best gift ever. What's the occasion?" She asked
"No occasion. Just wanted to give you something. Something extraordinary." He said and kissed her forehead. "I'm so glad that you're back." He added.
"Me too. I hate being away from you."
"You're aware how those words works on me?" He asked lustfully
"Och sweet Satan...I believe I do." She laughed while he was leading her into bed
"Wait." Suddenly he stopped. "Can we do it?" She smirked and pushed him onto bed
"Yes, mr. Eriksson, we can."
