♡The glow of the last campfire♡

Description: 14 year old kunikuzushi is extremely introverted and really doesn't have many friends, in an effort to make him come out of his little shell his mothers decide to send him to a summer camp for a month; There he meets a boy named Anton whom he shares a bunk with. Kuni hangs around him and his family for his trip but finds himself developing a small crush on their older brother Ajax and Ajax seems to be showing some interest in him too. Scara's new friends and Ajax's siblings realize this and try to set them up. (For this Au Ajax's siblings are closer in age then Canon)

Kunikuzushi hated people. He preferred to stay by himself, the music blasting in his headphones blocking out humanity. This worried the hell out of his mothers, his sister: Raiden Mei, had been quite social much like children his age but he on the other hand struggled immensely with making friends. It was most likely due to his snarky and harsh attitude in which why people stayed clear of him although he liked it that way.

   The siblings headed home from school, three of Mei's friends trailed behind her— Kuni far behind them, kicking a rock and gently humming to cemetery drive.(he's so real) Summer was starting at the end of the week and the raven was ecstatic, he couldn't wait to spend those two months rotting away in his room watching movies, listening to music and sleeping.

   "Kuni hurry up!! Or I swear I'll lock you out" Mei called from the door, Kuni rolled his eyes hurrying into the house; He immediately headed for his room, he didn't want to have to interact with Mei's friends when Ei stopped him, calling him to the kitchen. The boy groaned, lugging himself off to the kitchen. His mothers stood together smiling "What is this.. it's creepy." Kuni commented, Ei sighed "We'd like to speak with you about something Kunikuzushi." The raven sat resting his head on his arms "Could you make it quick-?" He spat, his eyes hinted with a sharp glare. His step mother slid a pamphlet towards him "the hell-?" The boy inspected it "𝖢𝖺𝗆𝗉 𝗍𝗒𝗏𝖺𝗍" Stretched along the cover "A summer camp-? What does this have to do with me..." Ei spoke up "You're going there for a month, Me and Miko believe it will be a good opportunity for you to learn some skills, get outside... maybe make some friends-?"

From the expression on his face they could tell he was displeased. "I don't want to go-!! It's not a fucking "good opportunity" I'll die of boredom in that shit hole." The raven snapped, the purple haired woman sighed "Kunikuzushi language.. please- you are going weither you like it or not young man, it's a good thing for you.. just I expect you to have your bags packed by next Monday, you're leaving then." Kuni groaned, storming his way upstairs; his summer was ruined.

The boy placed his headphones on, turning his music up all the way. He crawled into his bed, his room dark and desolate staring up at the ceiling. His cat meowed, joining him on the bed and curling up at his stomach. He was extremely upset at his mothers, He had enjoyed summer so much because he wouldn't have to be around anyone but now he was being sent off to some stupid camp with more stupid kids to bully him.

Time skip: Monday morning

The raven stared out gloomily through the window, It was so cheerful outside but he felt miserable. Kuni had been in the car for a couple hours now, his mothers had tried to form small talk with him but he drowned them out with his headphones.

"Ah there it is, kunikuzushi get those dreadful things off your head." His mother scolded, the teenager groaned taking them off of his ears. Their car pulled into a dirt parking lot which had a wooden arch with tyvat carved into it, many other cars occupied it along with lots of excited children hugging their parents and talking to councilors with colorful hair and clip boards.
The raven sulked as he exited the car, his bag on hand and the hood of his black hoodie raised on his head. He began walking off when Ei called him back "I'll need your phone and headphones Kunikuzushi." She ordered, her palm stuck out the open window of the car. "You're really trying to torture me" Kuni seethed, placing them in her hand "Thank you, now run along dear" She said waving as her window rolled up.
