Prologue: you and Reggie are in the military together you have been there for 8 years since no one's ever tapped you out? (I think if your not tapped out you have to stay for awhile before getting sent home)

Kira's POV

"Your such a dork"Reggie shoved my shoulder laughing "oh ya like your any less dorkyer"I laughed shoving him back "that's not a word nerd" he laughed

I shrugged "I'm gonna miss you"I smiled looking at him "sorry no one's there to tap you out" he told me

We had already talked about how long I have been here since he first got here which was 8 years already reggie was here for 6 years (that's what the internet said but I'm not sure)

We clicked when we first met "hey its ok ik just gonna stay here till I'm old and boney"I laughed

"Don't say that" reggie said "I'm sure they will let you off soon"he said I shook my head"it's whatever"

I smiled inside I was actually so tried I wanted a different life not one were I do the same thing over an over again for years

We went to are bunks and rested for the next day we were being tapped out I shut my eyes dreaming of the life I wanted

"Ugh stop I'm gonna cry"I said pulling away from the hug reggie gave me "please don't cry cuz then I'm going to cry"reggie said "I'm gonna miss you dumbass"I smiled "I'm going to miss your dorkyness"he punched my shoulder

I punched him back me got called into formation in order of are last name his was Webber mine was Xavier I was right in front of him

We had to stand there until all of the soldiers who were tapped out left and the ones who stayed went back

I heard reggie mom crying I knew it was his mom because he said "hi mom" I stood there thinking about what I would do when reggie was gone

Reggie's POV

"Jake" I whispered "ya?" he whispered back "tap her out" I said pointing at Kira he nodded the reason I couldn't do it was because soldiers can't tap out other soldiers

I walked behind Jake as he tapped her out he lightly tapped her shoulder she looked him in the eyes her eyes were not filled with tears "thank you"I heard her mumble in his chest as he was much taller than her he hugged back

She then looked at me and hugged me tight and strong "thank you so much reggie"she mumbled into my neck

She had tears down her face now

I can't believe he actually did that I don't really have a plan of what I'm going to do though I do know that Reggie is my home
