I was running down the streets of LA a tall guy with green hair and a knife running after me I knew if I took the elevator we would be able to get in with me so I took the staircase

Me and my best friend Lia shared an apartment we had got in a agruement before I left for work I knew she would still open the door as I ran up the stairs panting as I was still thic hoodie after I was to lazy to take it off I was really regreting that now

As I reached what I thought was my apartment the guy not far behind me I banged on the door " LIA OPEN THE DOOR PLEASE I KNOW YOUR MAD BUT OPEN THE DOOR PLEASE" I pled tears now running down my face as a couple sobs came out the door open but it wasn't Lia

Again a tall guy with cotton candy looking hair opened the door he grabbed my wrist putting me into his apartment pulling me into a strong hug I always kept my emotions to myself I didn't really like opening up I loved hugs but no one ever gave me any so this felt good I ended up sobbing into his shirt him rubbing my back whispering

"Your ok"  and " I got you" as he kinda rocked us back and forth soon after I stopped sobbing I asked him" why did you help me Im on the wrong floor?" he looked at me I probably looked a mess " because I heard your sobs I couldn't just let someone get hurt" he looked genuinely worried " well thank you I'm Angie" I said as I gave a small smile "I'm Jake" he smiles back his dimples popping out

We talked for hours till I got his number and we became best friends
