By the time Blair actually got to their home their husband was already there. Everyone knew long ago not to question how the elementary school teacher always knew things ahead of time and just got use to it.

Not far behind Elysium was making her decent from the sky just as Blair join Quinite's side.

"Welp, I beat you here which means if I find them inside i can kill them." Blair declared as they approached the door. Elysium rushed to their side to grab their hand.

"Honey, that's not what we agreed on. No killing." Blair groaned as their wife restrained them from doing anything rash.

"You're no fun."

"You need a less permanently consequential kind of fun." Elysium sighed as she noticed the small smirk on her lover's face. The small banter was always the duo's dynamic. It usually helped Blair think about thing when their loved ones are there to distract them.

"If you two are done, we have guest to entertain." Quinite said as he opened the door.

"He's right! Baby now, murder later!" Blair exclaimed rushing inside ignoring when their wife told them not to kill anyone.

It didn't take long to go from the front of the house to the living room. Standing across from Chara who was sitting on the sofa trying not to look at said monster was Toriel. Undyne stood by her side but soon noticed the short figure approaching from her left.

"Sssssstay... calm." Blair hissed. All the monsters flinched at the hiss. Chara only grinned remembering their father's special ability they could use.

Blair continued to hiss as a black fog like static seeped from their mouth. To the humans nothing happened. However to the monsters the first warning signs of this rare and unique attacks was the static that they heard and felt in their very soul.

Not allowing it to evolve any further Sans summoned a bone and pointed it directly between Blair's eyes.

"Hey, kid. Don't you remember that that abomination of a weapon is what has you on the entire world's shit list?" Sans asked coyly. What would the government say to you using that against a child's monster parents?"

"Probably the same thing as if I locked someone in a room full of mustard gas or nuked someone." Blair said keeping their grin.

That was how dangerous their ability is. Not only did it specifically target monsters it was an extremely painful torture device that even the quickest death from it is merciful enough. Unlike nuclear weapons however this ability was never meant to exist or be used by any means necessary. 'Sinister', as they liked to call it, was discovered on accident by Blair. As the only one to be able to use most monsters and even some humans wanted to find a way to contain or destroy such an ability. There were of course some that wanted it for themselves but they were taken care of. After another lawsuit for Blair's conditioned freedom projects went underway on how to humanely deal with the threat that was Blair's sinister.

"I can't help it if my emotions get riled up when someone breaks into my house and starts making demands and accusations." Blair said nonchalantly.

"Wow! All this commotion just to invite my human friend to my other human friend's birthday!" The lamp said. Everyone turned to Chara's left where Papyrus was standing with a lamp shade over his head. Even an orange light emanated from it.

"How long have you been standing there?" Elysium asked perplexed.

"I! Do not... know." He offered. "I just know that I am here!"

"Papyrus! My greatly moronic friend!" Blair greeted.

"Small human who is brutally honest! How I did not miss you!" Papyrus returned, his voice portraying the opposite of what he had just said.

"I couldn't agree more!" Blair shouted back.

"My ears can not take all this shouting." Quinite stated. The other monsters wouldn't admit in the presence of Sans but they felt the same way.

Contrary to their words Papyrus and Blair were great friends and one of the only monsters that associated with the chaotic group. Much, to Sans's internal carnage.

"Jokes aside, you said that there was a birthday for the Hero runt?" Blair walked over and tipped the cover off of Papyrus to ser him face to face.

"No I said my human friend, not the Hero runt." Papyrus corrected.

"Same difference. What I want to know is why you think we would even go in the first place."

"We're only inviting the punk! Not you!" Undyne interrupted. Blair snapped their focus to Undyne so fast that she almost summoned a spear on reflex.

"You really think I'd let my kid go to a place surrounded by people we don't trust? While we're at it, why don't you just leave you're kid with us without one of you since we know each other so well."

They knew that would never happen but they wanted to get their point across. Actually, now that they thought about it they probably would leave their kid at their doorstep just to fuck with them. Seemed like all they did anyways.

"But as much as I hate all of you the main choice goes to Chara." Gesturing to the child currently distracted by a mobile game all monster eyes( and sockets) turned to them. Sensing the gaze of multiple str- people Chara looked up. "Well, Chara? You wanna go to a party?"

Chara really didn't want to. Especially if they were going to be there. However this would be a good opportunity to tell them all off on their favorite's special day. On the downside it was going to be hell to deal with all of them at once either trying to get back into their life or steal them away from their family. On the plus side if they did something super unforgivable maybe then they would leave them alone. Just not something too bad. They were a family of bad guys but they had morals.

After going through more pros and cons in their head for a couple of minutes while (most of) the adults waited patiently they finally nodded yes to their parents. Blair was most shocked out of them all but kept it to themself thinking Chara knew what they were doing.

"Welp! The child has spoken! In a sense." Everyone gave Blair a deadpanned stare. "Guess we shall be attending a party."

"Great! Here are you're cards!" Papyrus shouted gleefully handing all the humans a birthday invitation. On it were the occasional Papyrus babble with a lot of p.s.'s until finally between the literal pages were the time and place.

"Its a date then." Elysium said as she made her card disappear with a simple parlor trick. Papyrus ate it up though and even applauded.

"The I guess our job is done here." Sans said as he left. "I'll show myself out."

"Don't let the door hit you on the way out! It hurts!." The only response Blair got was a boney middle finger and a slammed door. Followed by the satisfying sound of wood on bone as the door decided to continue its trajectory into Sans's back. "Can't say I didn't warn him."
