Bus rides ~ Leonardo DiCaprio ~

Chapter 1: First Bus Ride Together

It was the first day of my sophomore year, and I was still in bed. Ugh I hate mornings.

"AURORA YOU BETTER BE READY FOR SCHOOL YOUNG LADY OR IM GONNA- " my mom screamed out of frustration.

"OKAY MOM IM UP" I said as loud as I could, surprised when I had enough energy to utter a word. I was in fact not up, and I was half asleep when I responded. I'm Aurora, and I go to a school called John Marshall, in La. I've been dying to get out of the house, since all summer my family kept me isolated in our home. But this morning was difficult and it was hard to get up. Anywho, I should get up before my mom-

"Missy you better get up or you will never see the light of day" she said as she had a stern look on her face

"Okay, okay, I'm up now"

I brushed my teeth as usual, washed my face, and I soon got ready and put my cutest outfit on. I wore a
Hello Kitty pastel pink off the shoulder shirt, with my black flared leggings, and white crocs with cute jibbitz that had my initials and the Disney princess Aurora I was named after. It was my most comfortable and stylish thing I owned, don't judge.

I was finally out of the house as soon as I did my finishing touches on my face. I walked to the bus stop, which didn't take too long since I was speed walking in case I missed it. I was sitting on the bench as I put my earbuds in each ear, while picking a song from my playlist. I was feeling good today so I put on some Lana Del Rey "Brooklyn Baby".

"Hey, what are you listening to?"

"What?" I said as I took out one earbud, getting caught off guard since I was already a minute and 30 into the song, and that it was LEONARDO DICAPRIO. My childhood crush who has never spoken to me unless he needed answers to the homework, or a cigarette when he ran out.

"What are you listening to I said"

"Oh, I'm listening to Lana"

"Lana Del Rey?"

"Woah, you know Lana Del Rey?"

"Yeah who doesn't?"

"Idk I guess-" I got cut off when the bus honked and startled me and Leo. "Do you want to sit next to me on the bus?" I offered since I was trying to be nice after the previous conversation we had.

"Sure"

"Okay great"

We both headed to the stairs that led to the inside of the vehicle, Leo letting me go first, which was very thoughtful of him. I showed the Bus driver my pass while I watched Leo do the same. We both chose to sit in the middle back since we didn't wanna be in the front and disturb everyone. I sat near the window since I love looking outside while I listen to music.

"So what kind of music do you like?"

"I like Old Rnb, Pop, Soul music, etc"

"That's nice" Leo said as he was admiring the current atmosphere

"What kind of music do you like?"

"Hm I really like Hip hop, and jazz"

"ohhh me to" I said as I observed the geography of La, also while I put my headphones in to really capture the scenery. Which was cut shortly when I saw our destination right around the corner. I got up to put my backpack on and fix my hair and face to make sure I look presentable on the first day of school of course, because who wouldn't?

LEOS POV:
I saw Aurora fix her hair and makeup while I just sat there admiring her. I was always fond of her but we never really interacted that much over the years. She was a very social girl yet maintaining a small group of girls, Luna and Scarlet. My thoughts cut off, as the bus driver opened the door and our classmates walked out in a line while me and her did the same, me letting her go in front of me while I cautiously walked slow so I wouldn't accidentally step on her shoes. We were walking on the side walk and found the tall building right in front of us. We went into the office first to get our schedule, waiting shortly as our last names were soon to be called.

"What's your schedule?" Aurora asked as she carefully scanned her paper

"Let's see, I have 1st period English, 2nd History, 3rd Math, 4th Science, then lunch, 5th Art, and to end the day I have Spanish. What about you?" I let out a sigh as I fully used my air capacity.

"I have 1st period English, 2nd Science, 3rd Math, 4th History, then lunch as well, 5th Art, and I have Spanish also!"

"Wow what are the odds we have a lot of classes together? That's gonna come in handy sometime"

OFFICE LADIES POV:
2 young men and women came up to my desk as I was looking at my papers I was handling with. "Can we get our schedules please?" Said the kind young man next to the beautiful young girl. "Yes of course! What's your guys names?" "Leonardo DiCaprio" said the man, "Aurora Hart" said the shy girl while she fiddled with her fingers and always looked around every once in a while. "Okay lemme look through our files and I'll get back with you guys very shortly!" "Okay thank you!" Said both of them. "They're cute aren't they?" Said my coworker Lynn. "Yes they very much are! I wonder if they're together" said our other coworker Jamie. I soon found their schedules and called their names, and once again they said thank you.
