Chatper 2: Hello?

AURORAS POV:
The first day of school went pretty decent, considering it was high school and our buildings were hecka complicated. Leo introduced me to his best friend Tobey, even though I already knew of him previously from elementary. I also introduced both of them to Luna and Scarlet, which are my best friends as well. Me and Leo sat next to each other a-lot with the classes we shared since we were still getting familiar with our classmates, even though I was pretty social already. Luna had a look on her face when I introduced them to Leo and Tobey, but it wasn't a bad look, it was sorta like a smirk on her face, but I couldn't figure out what made her make that face.

LEOS POV:
School was amazing man! It was great sharing most of my classes with Aurora, and fun meeting all the sort of new people and seeing how social she was, but when she was with me she got all nervous and slightly tense from my view. I'm also glad she met Tobey, because Tobey has been there for me since day 1, and I also want all of our friends to hang out as one big group as well! During lunch tho I found it cute how every-time she tried to sneak a glance, I could see her side eyeing me. She thought I couldn't see her but I saw her in my peripheral vision. Shortly school ended, and me and Tobey walked to my house  to just hang out and talk you know? Me and him were sitting on my bed while Tobey asked me something.

" Hey man so you know Aurora right?"

"Yeah man? Of course I do I introduced her to you"

"Oh yeah, sorry I'm just kinda nervous telling you this haha."

"Just tell me I'm sure it's not bad" I said while putting my arms up with my palms upwards making an "idk stance". In my mind I was hoping he wouldn't say Aurora, but if he wants her then I would just have to suck it up. I guess here it goes oh gosh

"Well here it goes, I've been interested i-" Tobey was interrupted from the phone ringing.

I picked it up and it was Aurora, we previously exchanged numbers earlier because in Art we had a project assigned and we would need to discuss ideas and all that junk.

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Hi Leo, it's me Aurora" she said as I heard a faint spitting sound

"Hey Aurora! How are you?"

"Good how are you?"

"I'm doing great now that you called me" I said as I winked as if she could see me, Tobey shaking his head while face palming himself. Me laughing slightly because of Tobey.

"Well um. I have to go, I just wanted to test the phone and see if it would work, and it does now thank u bye" She said as she ended the line.

"Leo man I think she likes you"

"Nah man how could you tell"

"Well first, she called you first. Second, she wanted to test the phone? I think she wanted an excuse to talk to you haha"

"Eh I wouldn't jump to conclusions so fast"

"Dude I think you already did"

"Huh?"

"Your face is tomato red." Tobey said as he handed me a mirror I used when I did my hair. I felt butterflies when the recent thought of her entered my mind.

"Anyways back to what I was saying, is that I was interested in Auroras friend Luna. Like since elementary, but I've always been so afraid to go up and make the first move, I was wondering if you could ask Aurora if she could help me?"

"No problem lemme call her again" I dialed Auroras number as I was shaking my leg when the phone began to ring.

AURORAS POV:
Luna was at my house after school since we wanted to talk about our day and stuff.

"Sooo.. You and Leo?"

"Huh?" I said dumbly as she interrupted my thoughts when I zoned out.

"You and Leo"

"What about me and Leo?"

"I don't knowww, just that you to like each other"

"Cmon how could you know that"

"You're not denying it" she said as I grew quiet.

"How about you call him? Then we'll see"

"Okay fine." I was eager to call Leo and this could be my excuse to talk to him. I dialed the number since we exchanged number earlier during school. Oh my gosh he picked up.

"Omg he picked it up! Talk now!!!"

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Hi Leo, it's me Aurora" I said as I moved my brunette hair out of my mouth since it was in my way.

"Hey Aurora! How are you?"

"Good. Um how are you?"

"I'm doing great now that you called me" he said as I blushed intensely. "Is that laughing in the background?" Luna said as she was being nosy and listening throughout our whole conversation.

"Well uh. I have to go, I just wanted to test the phone and see if it would work, and it does now thank u bye" I said as I ended the line.

"Okay yeah he definitely likes you!"

"Nooo don't say that he's just being nice I'm sure"

We then got a snack and brought it back upstairs as we watched some tv. Some time went by like 15 minutes and then mid conversation the phone rang again.

"Hello?" I said as I bit my finger nail since I tended to do that when I got nervous.

"Hey it's me Leo" Leo? We just talked? What cookie he possibly want?

"Leo? hi what did you need?"

"So listen, I'm with my friend Tobey, and he likes your friend Luna, and with us being friends, I was wondering if you could help him with Luna? And possibly set them up? If you don't want to its-"

"It's no problem!" Luna interrupted as she stole the phone from me. "Is Tobey there?"

"Yes he's here wanna talk to him?"

"Of course!" Luna said as that was the start of their longgg boring conversation. I then got more snacks from my pantry downstairs, and then went back up to my room to find Luna blushing crazy and then hung up after 5 minutes.

"So what happened?"

"OH MY GOSH AURORA HE ASKED ME OUT! I CAN'T BELIEVE ITTT" Luna said VERY loudly, as she was practically shaking my bones out.

"Well that's great! You guys would look great together." I said as I gave her a sweet smile and then we both began giggling as we dreamed of our future, which was looking very good.
