Meran awoke later than usual. Not that she usually set an alarm, but she was known to wake with the sun. She checked her small digital clock, not worrying too much as it was only about an hour later than usual. She sat up and threw her legs out of the comfortable confinement that was her blanket. She immediately thought that she was grateful to have a carpet floor, because as soon as she emerged, chills rolled up her calves. She then held onto the hoodie she slept in, and even saw that the windows were foggy. There was shuffling outside her door, so Feiten must have been awake. Or someone broke in. But Meran told herself that was unlikely. She quickly changed into some new clothes, almost too quickly so that she wouldn't be frozen. She didn't know if the weather had started to get cooler, or if Feiten accidentally knocked the air conditioning into wack. She knew that he liked to mess around with machines, and there was one time where he thought it would be a good idea to fuse a voice detection system into the air conditioning unit which in turn knocked out the A.C. for a whole month. She really hoped he didn't try that again. Her wardrobe consisted of mostly long shirts and skirts from Tiago's store, but today she opted for a pair of pants. She walked into their half living room and half kitchen main area of their apartment, and did indeed find Feiten messing with small metal screws and plastic plates. She saw a power outlet right next to him, so her worst fear had unfolded right in front of her. "Did you mess up the temperature again?" She deadpanned as she turned to look at the temperature reader. "No I didn't this time actually- I tried to make it warmer because the weather channel said it was going to be chilly today and it wouldn't want to work so I-" "You took it apart." She glared. He paused and looked at her with a nervous smile. Meran sighed. She dragged her feet to the kitchen, keeping her gaze on Feiten as she pulled out the toaster and threw halves of a bagel inside. "Hey I'm sorry I'm trying to fix it-" "You coulda left it alone and called the people who installed it.." Meran muttered but still loud enough for him to hear her disapproval.

He sighed and continued working. When Meran's bagel was ready, she simply spread some chocolate on the top and made herself comfortable on a stool while she ate. She continued watching him judgingly. The jumble of metal and plastic proceeded to spark in Feiten's face and he jumped back, holding his nose because a spark had kissed him. "I told you, stupid." Feiten stared back at her with unamusement. "I'll call them later..." He grunted, obviously defeated yet again. Meran felt like she had won a battle. She would always argue with Feiten about what does and doesn't need fixing. This time she finally got her win. She finished her bagel and thought over if she should really take that walk. "You look like you're going somewhere." Feiten said as he started to clean up his mess. "I was thinking about taking a walk.. to process what happened yesterday.." "Oh, I'll come too!" He perked up and began cleaning up faster. "N-no- I just wanted to be by myself for an hour or two-." The grin on Feiten's face fell off slightly. "You sure? I mean- you could get kidnapped or something." "You made me watch you play Mortal Kombat for 5 hours straight because 'it would help me defend myself'." She deadpanned again. "Cuz it is!" Feiten really liked trying to defend himself in useless arguments. "Or wait.. are you going to meet a secret boyfriend I don't know about???" He went to follow her to the door, like a detective. This flustered her quite a bit. "No you weirdo! I was going to go to the park!" She shoved him backwards and proceeded to open the door. She realized she had forgotten her phone and bag, so she ran back to grab them. "You're taking your phone too?! Oh hell no, you really are going to see a boyfriend! I'm coming with you!!" He knew it was unlikely and at this point he was just poking fun, but the more he thought about it the more it bugged him because they didn't really go anywhere separately. "No-! Fei you're being dumb again!!" She tussled with him for a second before shoving him a good distance from the door and ran to it. He gave up thankfully. "I'm bringing the phone so you don't worry yourself to death, idiot." She glared from the other side of the door. "Fine.. but you call me if ANYTHING happens kay???" He leaned forward to see her. "Yeah I know.." She quickly waved and shut the door. She fixed her jacket and any weird folds at the bottom of her pants and tied her shoe. Maybe she got a little too embarrassed about the word 'boyfriend', which was weird to her now that she thought about it because she didn't have one or ever thought about having one. It was too strange of a concept to really think about.
