"What?" Feiten turned around to see the outside air shimmering. Loki shot up to see up and over the two, and confirmed his line of sight. "Faen." He seethed and watched as the sparkles in the air got bigger and brighter in the second. Time seemed to slow as Meran also watched, then she and Feiten were abruptly grabbed and thrown behind the desk.

The glitter exploded outside.

The explosion completely shattered the thick glass doors, and multiple screams from the women shopping rang out as the shockwave hit them dead on. Loki had the two crouched close to him under the desk, and surprisingly he smelled nice, but it was almost too much for Meran. The shockwave sent a tsunami or air through the room and it even knocked out the power. "How were you able to lift us both over that desk-" Feiten whispered but was silenced by Loki shushing him. They stayed quiet in the dim room for about two minutes, and Loki got to his feet to scan the area. "Stay under here until I say so." Meran watched as half of his arm dissolved into a misty gray smoke and dissipated to the different corners of the room. He remained defensive, and maybe his eyes even turned to slits. There were the hushed and panicked whispers of those still alive from the blast, and they dared not cry when they found someone possibly dead. Meran wanted to panic and cry like she used to. She forbade herself from hyperventilating, and thin eyes slowly wandered up to read her brother's expression. He was almost calm. How in the world could he possibly be calm? Loki's arm suddenly came back into its shape, and he crumbled to the floor, wielding his arm. He bit his lip to try not to express his pain, and Meran flinched slightly when he came back down. She rolled over from sitting to being on her knees to try and examine him and hopefully help, but she saw no blood, nor any twists or malformations of a break. Before she could mouth a sign of concern, the whispers all ceased, and the sound of boots walking on shattered glass crunched and bounced off the walls. What also sounded like chains and blades also scraped and ran across the floor also made itself known, and everyone was stone still.

Meran's movements were then very slow and serious, slowly turning her shoulders and rose slightly to see over the desk. It was shorter on this side, with a barrier in front, which is why she couldn't see over it before. She dared not see over the barrier, but still had a good look above it. There were those people in black armor, caring weapons, guns, and swords that were almost bigger than themselves. Again the crude things that they held looked alive, at some point at least. Some of them glowed faintly, like a light not yet ready to flicker out and disappear from the world. She thought that the woman from the park would be someone in those two armor suits, but instead of those muted green dreads, and not even the woman she saw in the alleyway a week ago. It was another woman, however with lavender hair, half done up in small ponytails, and another figure whose face she couldn't see with long black hair. It was even longer than Loki's locks. The woman held one of the swords, and it was the one scraping the floor, and the other figure held a giant almost machine gun, that had the bones of a normal metal gun, but it was laced and wrapped with a mossy like substance, that glimmered similarly to the glitter from before. Her eyes coaxed her to rise higher to see above the barrier, and felt a tug on her arm, right on her new tattoo. She hissed and fell back down, and it was Feiten who had grabbed her. All three almost stopped breathing when the hiss of pain left her lips, and scraping of the floor stopped. Loki burned holes into her, and she only matched him by staring back. He looked away and up for a moment, and then looked back at the other two, a plan in his eyes. n his eyes. The pain in his arm seemed to have released him, so he pointed and nodded to the back of the room, and dissolved his hand again and spread it down on the floor. He raised his eyebrow to see if she understood, and she thought she did. Meran pointed to both herself and Feiten and pointed to the back, which he confirmed. Then she pointed to his arm, and made a wavy crazy motion, thinking he was just going to dissipate again. Reluctantly he nodded, and the two nodded back to him.
